Awesome, Fun, and Cheap!
Today is March 28th and I've had a pair of these knives since they arrived on March 9th. They were of impressive quality for the price, but there was a problem with one of them - the batteries in the flashlight were dead. I contacted the seller (Vivien Discount Store) via Amazon and received an immediate reply that they would send me a set of replacement batteries. The batteries arrived a few days later and now both knife lights shine brightly! Kudos to Vivien Discount Store for great customer service.Today, for the first time, I started a fire with one of the built-in Ferrocerium Rods. I am very inexperienced in doing this as I have only seen survivalists on the various TV shows (Dave Canterbury, Les Stroud, Cody Lundin, Matt Graham, Joe Teti, etc.) do it. Here is what I did to test it (less than an hour ago!) ...I "fluffed up" a cotton ball, put it in one of those big jar candles, and then scrapped the Ferrocerium Rod with the tiny first groove of the serrated portion of the knife blade while holding it next to the cotton. In only five strokes, the cotton was in flames! I was shocked ... SHOCKED, I TELL YOU, at how easy that was. (Fun too!) No wonder Dave Canterbury is "so big" on insisting a person have a Ferrocerium Rod with them when they're in the wilderness! This experience taught me all I needed to know about the quality of this knife's accouterments. Buy it! It's a bargain! :)20160109 Update: this is still my EDC knife and I love it! I gave the other one to my son in November, 2015, and when I saw 5 more of them available for only $10.75 each, I jumped on it and bought them all. Well done, Wartech!

Blade doesn't lock!
The media could not be loaded. I initially liked the utility and variety this knife offered. The problem I have with it is the lock for the blade. Initially on opening I couldn't get it to lock to engage, couldn't pry the blade lock over! After numerous times of opening and closing I got it to catch very slightly, and when trying to use the blade, found it was not locked. If you watch the video attached, you will notice it took nine times of opening and closing to get the blade lock to catch, but look closely, the lock is barely over the blade. I find this to be very dangerous and have tried many different ways of opening the knife (even giving a swift snap of the wrist), but without forcing the lock over it does not stay. I will keep the knife as it was inexpensive. I will do some work on it and try to finagle the lock so it locks securely each and every time. The knife is sharp, The fire starter puts out a small amount of sparks, the flashlight works and all in all it does what it claims to do otherwise. I would not use it as an EDC. The flashlight rattles and is held in by a magnet which I think could easily let go and lose the flashlight. I bought it to have in my truck for emergencies and it will do the job if needed (as long as I make sure the blade is locked!).

Wadda ya expect?
It's a super cheapo knife. It chimes in a plain little cardboard box in a cellophane bag. Wadda ya expect for the price? It is surprisingly heavy for what it is. The blade is sharp enough and the extras work. I personally wouldn't use it, as I already have a decent EDC set up, but it was a good first knife for the person I bought it for...he was quite tickled on receiving it.

Easy to open and shut, good size, fits well in my purse, and not too heavy.
My husband got one of these as a groomsman gift and I kept trying to steal it! He wanted it back, so I bought my own! I love it. Easy to open and shut, good size, fits well in my purse, and not too heavy. Also, I love the jagged edges on the blade. Super helpful.

Pretty dang cool
Pretty dang cool. Does not come with any instructions on how to properly use the different features of the knife. So it makes for a bad gift as the person that is receiving it will have to tinker with it before actually knowing everything's use.

Very nice looking knife
Very nice looking knife. The fire starter works with the use of serrated part of the blade. flashlight will do in a pinch. Open assist works well. Bottle opener is convenient. 4 stars due to loose fitting flashlight holder held by magnet but detaches to easy. I will update if I loose the lite. Uses watch batteries.

I like it a lot
I was hesitant about buying this knife because of reviews I read but I don't know why people were unhappy. I think this is not only a really cool looking knife but it had multiple useful features and it doesn't feel like I have a brick in my pocket. The fire starter is held in with a magnet and seems sturdy. The flashlight also is held in with a magnet so you can take it out. I would recommend this knife.
