It’s easy to operate and maintain. It has powerful suction and live retractable power cord. There are a lot of attachments included.

The product works great on hardwood cleaners. If you have hardwood, it's safe to assume that you also have area rugs. That is where the problem starts. If you have a low pile area rug, this vacuum will not work.I called up Dyson customer care and their response was that it is designed for hardwood floors or carpeted floors and NOT area rugs. Suggested resolution: Please buy a handheld Dyson for area rug as it's suction is 0.6 times the canister one.Another con is the head size. It will take you longer to finish the task compared to wider head vacuums.So, if you have area rugs, you may need two vacuums and that seems to be a big negative.

This vacuum is awful for rugs! Works great on hardwood floors.

This is my 2nd Dyson. I have to say I am disappointed in the Dyson DC 39. The suction is not nearly as powerful as my 1st Dyson, which I LOVED. I have noticed the carpet attachment does a terrible job of picking up pet hair off an area rug. It also blows dust/hair off the edge of the rugs. The hardwood attachment does a decent job. Again not near as good as my previous Dyson. All in all, it's just OK. I gave it 3 stars because of the versatility with all of the attachments.

The media could not be loaded.  The product is totally trash because the plug doesn't fit. Its bigger then the standard plugs, I contacted to seller, he told me to send him pictures but didn't reply to me, this kind a seller shouldn't be here in this platform. this product is flaw.
