Made with sturdy canvas material, it can store 5 AK magazines, plus a hand grenade, and a cleaning kit. First and last cells can be overloaded to take 2 magazines each. It has a weird yet functional hook and loop closure on the front that wins high on security but low on speed. Has loops on the back so you can hook your belt through it. The 1" canvas strap is sturdy and cuts into your shoulder just enough to remind you of your duty to the dear chairman. Remember, his eyes aer always upon you. Overall, actually fairly good build quality as would expect from this fine piece of totally not made with Chinese slave labor product. Overall strongly recommend.

Just got 2 of these mag bags today. Both are in great shape out of the package. They appear to be military production rejects. While that is not a bad thing, it does call the quality into question. If the number of rejected bags from a manufactured lot exceeds the stated limit, usually about 3% to 5% of the total lot, then the entire lot is rejected. Here is where the lot gets routed to the civilian market for sales. I ordered two bags. One is fine while the other fell apart with a slight tug on the seem of the top flap piping. Neither will take the standard capacity mags but the 20 round PMags work great. These will make good expedition bags for riding 4-wheelers in the wilds. A couple of spare mags for the rifle and plenty of room for some water bottles and trail-mix. The shoulder strap makes a great cross body carry. Overall, good bags but just be aware that they may or may not hold your mags.Update 1/10/2020: Had the opportunity to try these bags with a buddies Galil 35 round mags. Being a little shorter, the mags fit into the slots perfectly, the flaps closed as they should and the whole arrangement slung over his shoulder quite well. He stated that this was the perfect bag for these mags as a grab-n-go setup. Now he's looking into getting some of these. Get the bags and experiment with your different mags. You might find that this bag is a great find after all. That is why I've upgraded the review to 4 stars. There is still that quality control issue with my one bag.

Bag works exactly as advertised. I use it as a quick pickup rig, or for extra mags along with my plate carrier. I use 2 40 round ak mags and 4 30 round ak mags in this and it works well it cant fully close with 40 round mags, but what i can do is put them on the ends and poke them out of the side with it closed. This gives me a very nice quick but still secure draw for those 2 40 round mags. It has a shoulder stap and belt loops. So i wear it over my shoulder and hooked up to my gunbelt. This configuration also works well with the plate carrier over it if you expect to have to protect against large groups (rioters).. You can figure that out, and would feel more comfortable with extra ammo if you need it. That being said it works great for my needs, is secure, and shipped in about 3 weeks even tho it advertises 2 months. Would buy again for myself and plan to buy 2 more as gifts for some of my shooting buddies

Genuine PLA surplus. It took a long time to get here. Overall very much worth it, simplicity at its finest, in great condition, no odors, no stains, very serviceable, no frills, definitely worth the price. Is shipped from China Post to US.

The only thing I personally don't like is the super tight mag pouch separators. When your wearing it slung over your shoulder, with the polymer mags I have the whole bag lifts when I try to pull out one mag. It's that snug.

The ad clearly states these are surplus. I received a reproduction that uses a weaker canvas and stitching. The Reproductions are fine for airsoft but would easily come apart overtime in Any real world use. Some folks did get real ones but no doubt they throw in fakes to pad their count of real ones. Pathetic.

I have three of these mag holders. Work with both 30 rd AK47 and AR15 mags. Good quality thick OD green canvass pouches. I’m 6’02 285 lbs. and the straps are long enough to fit over my shoulders / cross body just fine. Over all nice ammo / mag carriers. Just buy them. Can’t go wrong.

Really nice item,I was looking for a Chinese type mag pouch similar to what the would have been carried in Vietnam or something like that.This is perfect.Good stitching, solid construction.Hold 5 ak type mags.I would recommendMade in China, and takes a bit to ship.
