Handicap Door Opener for Disabled People, Low Energy ADA Swing Door Operator with Stainless Steel Handicap Push Buttons

I am very pleased with this opener and with the ease of installing it, I thought it would be very technical but that wasn't the case. It was easy to do only took a few hours and changing any settings is simple to do using the programmer that comes with the system. The only change I made was the hold open time to give my wife more time to get back inside. I had a question about the mounting location of the receiver and emailed tech support, I was surprised at how fast I got a reply and the information I needed. They also have a US phone number (on instructions) I didn't use it but it's good to know it's there if needed. I don't normally do reviews, and I'm doing this one on my wives account, but I am impressed with this product and with the company's support of this opener. Hopefully it will continue to do the job for years to come and I know support is there if I need it! I included a short video, but I didn't show the door closing because as I said I set the hold open time up (20 seconds) and I didn't think anyone would want to watch a door stand open that long, but it closes as well as it opens! Just a little bonus I like is the remote control, I use it to let the cat in and out without getting up LOL! Thanks, Olide!

I recently bought this unit for a garage where I store my car collection, commonly referred to as a Man Cave. I’m a quadriplegic and opening heavy doors is a difficult task and can take me a few minutes of effort and damage to doors, door jambs, walls, etc. as I try to negotiate my entry or exit. I also have used Stanley units in the past on our commercial properties, which cost me about $4000 per door installed for what is most likely built in China by Olide with a “Stanley” label on it (I have no proof one way or another if this is true). That aside, this unit took a few hours to install and set up by my handyman. We found the instructions to be reasonably clear and it worked flawlessly after a few minor adjustments out of the box. I love it and for about $1500 all-in, I now have a commercial grade door opener. I was so impressed that I just ordered another unit for my house.

Only issue is with power outages as doors will open and stay open even with a short blip in power. Reached out to customer support with no results. Need to fix this issue!

Seems to be a great door opener. Needed a longer shaft to make it work with my door so I emailed tech support and they are sending me them for free. Great customer service.

Product was easy to install and has worked well in our facility. We've have installed these units in multiple locations throughout our site. Customer service is quick to respond and are very helpful.

Directions were good. Installation was fairly simple. Seems to be working good so far. Will buy again for next project.

ORIGINAL POST: Worked for two months then remote became inconsistent. Door wouldn’t open or close as directed by remote. Complained to Amazon. UPDATE: Got product support from manufacturer and they sent additional remotes. Didn’t resolve the issue. They also sent a 30 page pdf instruction manual. To further troubleshoot, the device needed to be opened up and internal antenna extended. Personally I cannot climb on ladder to get to device to do this. And I could not get the man that originally installed the device to come back to open it up. Having to spend another $100 or so on another person to do the additional work just made this whole device and installation way too expensive. Thus, I don’t know if extending the internal antenna would have made the device work properly or not. WHY TWO STARS: I’ll give this two stars for at least trying to get it to work.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. IVE PURCHASED 2 SO FAR AND AM VERY SATISFIED. THE TECH SUPPORT HAS BEEN THE MOST SURPRISING. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN PROGRAMMING AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THE PRODUCT.
