Great kneepad that you don't have to fiddle with the whole game!
I originally posted this review on my blog, but after buying my second pair of these, I thought it was about time that I review them on here! I've been playing volleyball for 20 years - including Division I college volleyball. I still play at a competitive level, and thought I would share some detailed info on these knee pads.I honestly believe that you should consider the position you're playing when you select your knee pads, though, at the end of the day, you will probably arrive at the same decision regardless the position you're playing. For me, I tend to roll my the excess fabric on the knee pads down a fold so that they are not shifting when I'm playing. I've had too many issues in the past where I've had to dive multiple times in a rally, and the knee pad gifts shifted, and on the last dive, I get a massive bruise somewhere. Whether I'm playing libero or setting, I dive a lot. The packaging suggests that you "select VOLLEYBALL KNEEPADS suited for your body's size and athletic objective," so I guess I'm on to something. ;-)Some people like to wear knee pads that have a multitude of pads covering all sides of the knee. My main focus is on the sides, but I also use the top/middle quite a bit. I don't like to have too much going on because I have to sprint all over the court, so too much padding slows me down, causing me to have to use the knee pads even more.Comfort: If I have to play back-to-back games, I don't feel like ripping them off in the middle of the game. They become like a second skin. The packaging states that, "wearing VOLLEYBALL KNEEPADS too tight can slow blood circulation in that location of the body," so take note, people. You might like your spandex or shirt super tight, but that is a bad idea when it comes to knee pads.Design: The design is great. They had to have consulted with actual volleyball players before producing this one, because it's practical, and seems that everything that normally drives me crazy about knee pads is absent in these.Support: They have supported me through quite a few rough tournaments (rough = I am running all over the court like a crazy person, and we still don't win), but again, some people might prefer even more padding, and a longer sleeve on the knee pad. If you don't need that, then it gives great support.Colors: They come in traditional white or black, but they also come in black with highlighter yellow trim on the top and bottom, lime green with pink trim, baby blue with yellow trim, and pink with baby blue trim. While I love bright colors, I'm not a fan of bright-colored knee pads, but that's just me. I like everything to coordinate, so I guess I'm kind of preppy when it comes to my volleyball attire?Pros: They don't roll as much as some other knee pads, so they stay in place during long matches. They also don't seem to get stinky like some other brands. (Ever been in a volleyball huddle after the game, when everyone is pulling their knee pads down? P.U.) I threw them in the washer and let them air dry, and they kept their shape and dried pretty quickly. Most importantly, they get the job done. When I dive on them, it doesn't hurt!Cons: It's not a con for me, but some people might not like how short they are. The entire knee pad is only 6 inches. I had a difficult time thinking of anything bad to say about these knee pads. They are awesome!TL;DR: These knee pads are awesome, if you like a shorter design and don't need massive pads. For the quality, they're reasonably priced, and come in different colors.

Better then Nike!
Best knee pads yet, we typically stick to the Nike brand but they are so small! Got these to try an daughter loves them! We did size up from the Nike ones. Very comfortable!

Pay attention to sizing
I was right between two sizes based on the measurements. I went for the smaller of the two sizes. They are pretty snug, a little tighter than I’d like but not so much that they’re uncomfortable during play. They’ve held up fine for a few matches so far and were definitely an upgrade from whatever cheap ones I found in store last time I was in the market for kneepads.

Consistently great.
My daughter prefers this brand of kneepads to others, and this is her favorite style so far. She plays for school and travel and they have lasted well, more then a solid year. Like all knee pads, they stink when they are full of sweat. They hold up well to washing and I pay them flat to dry. We will happily continue to buy these. She wears a medium in most athletic shorts and wears a medium in these kneepads.

Mizuno Loyalist
I have played volleyball for almost 12 years now and have tried many different kneepad brands but I always seem to go back to mizuno since in my opinion they are the best for your money. They are lightweight, durable, small (perfect for packing) and do not give my a rash on the back of my knees. I would recommend for anybody who is expereinced or mostly plays front row for the fact that these players know how to dive correctly and/or do not dive very often. I would not recommend for beginners since they usually do not know how to diver properly and instead i would recommend more of a "turtle shell" knee pad shape.

They seem nice but too small/tight
Ordered a medium but returning for a large. My 11 year old who is about average size, had a knee circumference of about 14 inches. Packaging and site say that’s a medium and goes up to 15.5 inches. Very tight. So I’m going to try the large. They seem great though.

Protective and durable knee pads
I have tried other knee pads before but they all broke so soon. I used them for volleyballs. It stays where I set it to be and provides great protection in general. Other knee pads become thinner after a few weeks but this one sustains for long(not yet for now).
