MryokReplacement Lenses for Oakley Gascan OO9014 - Options

works well for the price
As others have stated, I did feel these lenses change the perception depth that your eyes can see. It took me a couple of times wearing them after I switched for eyes to be adjusted to this. I could see how people could get a migraine from this IF they are prone to vision migraines. However, I never had any headaches or migraines even when I was adjusting to these. Mine do have a few scratches on the lenses now, but I don't go out of my way to keep them in a protective case when I'm not wearing them (i.e. they fall off my head occasionally when I'm not wearing them and stoop over to pick up something). All that said, they are much cheaper than OEM, but my last set of Oakley lenses lasted approximately 5 years, and I am only anticipating 1 year to maybe 2 years of life out of these. Pick your poison, but I am guessing I will probably go back to Oakley when these reach end of life.

Glare and distorted image
I’ve been wearing gascans for close to 15 years and have replaced lenses countless times. Unfortunately I find these lenses to be unwearable. I can’t quite figure it out but wearing them gives me a headache. I’ve not had that happen with any of my previous lenses. They don’t seem to reduce glare and in fact seem to introduce a glare and distortion of there own. The lenses make you feel out of balance it’s very strange. I also feel like the polarization is sub par compared with other lenses I’ve used. I don’t recommend these at all. I prefer the seek optics lenses as far as cheap lenses go or the revant. Neither are very durable which is why I tried these but I can’t wear them. Perhaps I got a bad batch but looking over the reviews I saw another user with similar issues.

unsure
Bought these for a pair of knock off oakley's, I was able to get both lens installed, but the left lens left a gap about 1/32" between the frame and the outer edge of the lens. No idea if this is the frame problem or lens. Anyways, the clarity seems ok for the price, and will leave em in since no one but me will likely even notice. Not over the moon for this product, but you do get what you pay for.

Not as Described
Fitment was good, however the tint on them was not as described. Images show a tinted Smokey color, these are not that, and are a very dark amber color that strain the eyes. Have reached out to customer service for resolution, which they will not help without removing an honest review. Poor service. Definitely not buying these again from here and will purchase my next sets for all my Oakley’s elsewhere.

Not the best lenses out there.
While the lenses are nice and polarized, they appear to places in the lens that make it distorted. It is almost as if the lenses were made flat then someone heated them up with a heat gun and bent them to make them the shape they needed to be to fit into the frames. Next time I need to buy a set, I will look at another site.

Restored 100 dollar pair of sunglasses for 20 bucks!
They popped right in and seem to be just right. The darkness of the lens might be a hair darker than the original lenses, but it is hard to tell. I am so happy to bring new life to my old gascans, they are like brand new again, thank you mryok!!! Also they give you a new cloth case to carry your glasses in, very nice addition.

Very dissapointed - not a correct fit for Gascans, lenses can pop out easily.
I purchased these to replace the lenses in my (real) gascans. They do not fit correctly and after a few tries of putting them in, continue to leave a gap on the bottom. I could deal with the gap - the issue is, the lenses pop out very easily because of the incorrect fit. When you squeeze the frames you can feel how they are no longer tight with these so-called perfect fit lenses. They are not.I'm putting my scratched-up original lenses back in, because i don't want to lose a lens out and about as I rely on my sunglasses heavily.

Bronze Gold
These are pretty solid lenses. Popped right in, and the polarization on them is actually pretty good for a low cost lens. the only grip I have is that the description for these says "Neutral" tint, but they are more brown than neutral, and that's what I was looking for. My previous lenses (also after market) were brown brown...I couldn't wear them in AZ during the summer because they weren't dark enough. These are a bit darker i.e. light pass through, but still have a brown tint which was hoping to get away from. Too bad my oakleys are desert tan, or I would have bough black.
