I have used grabber tools for a number of years. They are invaluable in many circumstances when trying to get something. I have grabbers in most rooms of the house as well as in the basement. There are ones I like more than others. Since acquiring this set I have been using the longer one. It has good reach and is pretty effective at picking things up. Sometimes it does have a challenge with smaller items like a small piece of paper or a pen.For whatever reason I had put the small one aside and wasn't using it. Big mistake. I came across it a week or so ago and got it our to use. It does fold in half and I was a little leery of how well it would work. The two ends do not really latch, the extended part just sits in the end of the handle end. But, it has worked well. Really well. I have a small table I do things at and do manage to drop things from time to time. I was using a longer grabber until I re-discivered this one. Why did I not use it before? It is working great and is a lot easier to use because what I dropped will be closer to the chair. The shorter length is really handy when I am at the table. So glad that I brought this one out, even though I waited a while to do so.

I have yet to use the reachers mainly because I bought them to use in stores when, invariably, items I want to look at or purchase are on the top shelf, in the back and not accessible for a person of only 5'2". I do believe these will do what I want them to, i.e., to grab the item to push it forward enough to the front of the shelf that I can get it down to purchase. I do have other grabber/reachers that I use in the house and they always work fine. I was a bit skeptical, though, about the fact that this product would pick up a coin off the floor so I put a coin on our wood kitchen floor and the grabber had no problem picking it up. I do believe they will work just fine.

I am thrilled with this product. Especially since they are two different lengths. It is sturdy. I have picked up not only socks. But I was able to pick up my phone.Worth my money

It started with the squeeze trigger getting stuck. I'd have to pry it back a few times until it picked up its last piece of trash. The trigger fully broke.

I use this grabber to help me pick up things I cannot bend and pickup easily and to reach for non-breakable items that i cannot reach, due to severe arthritis.I bought a yellow set for myself last year. I have nerve damage in my fingers and cannot always tell if I have a good grip on an object, therefore, I constantly drop things. This recent purchase is for my friend who has to use a scooter to get around. She continually drops things also. I find these grabbers are an asset for those of us who need a little(alot) of help forRetreiving things dropped. Thank you.

I recieved these items yesterday they look strong but I discovered that one is shorter than the other so be careful when going to order that you get what you wont dont make the same mistake as me.
