A Literal Life Saver!
I bought this product because I had been suffering from a progressively worsening acne problem that had progressed into a MRSA infection at the sight of each pimple. In addition, I have had problems with Rosacea for years. I was hoping this product could help with both of those problems, especially the acne. The problem started this past winter I came down with a fever and one of the pimples I had, which was on my temple, developed into a bad abscess. I went to the emergency clinic and the doctor tested the fluid from the abscess, which he identified as a MRSA staph infection. Amazingly, just over a week before this a new antibiotic was released that was supposed to work on this form of staph infection. Turns out that I was deadly allergic to the antibiotic.Of course, there was nothing else that standard western medicine could do for me... Since I wasn't willing to die, I decided to see what else might work. I tried a lot of products over the next 5 months and 6 additional abscesses on my face and neck (each one measuring between 2"-4" in diameter). Then I stumbled on Silver Honey. (Silver is one of the few products known to be able to kill staph infections, and which the staph cannot develop an immunity to. I had tried to use several different silver products, but they were too harsh and burned the tissue, making it more susceptible to the MRSA. Honey is known as an antibacterial and anti-fungal as well as a wound sealer.) Finally my abscesses started healing. At that point things were healing better, but the MRSA staph bacteria was just jumping to another location and attacking again, as soon as I started working on the latest abscess in addition to it's predecessors.I was at my wit's end. I knew that if I didn't figure out something soon, I wasn't going to make it. I was thinking this as I was washing my face down with this SkinSmart Antimicrobial Facial Cleanser. At the same time I was being thankful that this product was working so well at reducing the number of new pimples I was getting from about 20/day to about 1/week. As long as I didn't pop the pimple, but instead used the Skinsmart Cleanser on it, the pimples weren't turning into staph infections. Then the thought occurred to me that, if this product was stopping pimples from forming, and healing pimples once they formed, maybe it would be helpful in treating the infections the pimples were forming. (This thought was probably triggered by the label on this cleanser which states that the product is an "Antimicrobial"...) Thus I added it to my treatment routine, and suddenly abscesses were staying healed and I wasn't getting new abscesses anymore!Admittedly, this was only 1 part of the treatment I was using. The method that finally cleared up my MRSA staph infections, and stopped them from returning over the last 6 months, is as follows (included in case it will save anyone else's life):1.) I made a tea from cloves, chamomile, and nettle leaf to use as both a compress and then a flush. (The clove tea makes a deep numbing agent that lasts for around 15 minutes, during which time I could do anything to the abscess without pain. The chamomile and nettle leaf are both anti-fungal and antibacterial, in addition to being healing agents that sooth damaged tissue and help them recover.)2.) Once the tea was cool enough that it wouldn't hurt, I made a compress using some large teabags I bought here on amazon. I then wrapped them in a few paper towels to make certain none of the plant matter could get into the abscesses and cause further problems. This helped to both open the abscess up for cleaning, relax the tissues so cleaning would be more productive, and numb the area so I could start flushing the abscess without too much pain.3.) I flushed the abscess with Bactine, which provided an initial cleansing and numbed the tissue inside the abscess enough for me to get deeper into the abscess to flush and clean.4.) I used the clove, chamomile, and nettle leaf tea as a flush inside the abscess, so I could work the infection loose, from deeper and deeper into the abscess, and squeeze out all the infection and MRSA staph bacteria.5.) I used SkinSmart Antimicrobial Facial Cleanser Spray as another flush, continuing to work out as much of the infection and bacteria as possible.(Note that each flush was repeated multiple times, followed by my attempting to move all the infection towards, and out of, the opening of the nearest abscess. Sometimes I alternated back and forth between flushing solutions so I could continue emptying all the infection from the abscesses. Also note that I never reused a compress, so the tea was never contaminated. This allowed me to know that I was never adding bacteria back into my abscesses.)6.) Finally I packed the abscesses with SilverHoney.Once I started using this combination, the abscesses started healing up fast. The oldest ones were fully healed in about 4 days, the newest ones took 3-4 weeks. The most challenging part was keeping the abscesses open long enough to squeeze out all of the staff bacteria. It has now been 6 months and so far I've not seen any indications that I still have any of the MRSA staph bacteria. Given that the abscesses were showing up faster and faster, I have lots of hope that I am finally free of the bacteria. (From the time that the 1st abscess showed up, it took 2 months until the 2nd abscess appeared; 1 month later the 3rd abscess showed up; 2 weeks later the 4rd appeared; 1 week later the 5th appeared; the 6th was about 3 days later; and the 7th just about 18 hours later.)Other notes on this product:- I tried using Noxzema Ultimate Clear Face Pads but it was super harsh and my face EXPLODED in pimples for the next 2 weeks.- SkinSmart did a great job clearing up both my pimples as well as my roseate.- SkinSmart is very gentle on my super sensitive skin. I am extremely happy with this product, despite the chlorine smell.

Optometrist recommended.
My optometrist recommended this to me. I spray my face after cleansing. She said it was natural, something your body produces and should help me from getting eyelid infections. Not sure if it helps yet but doesn’t hurt to try.

Highly recommend for travel
Handy for travel; used about half of one of the bottles during a recent international trip. When I returned, I took one of the other bottles to the office to have one there. Product is exactly what you would expect. No issues whatsoever with the bottle, the sprayer, or the quality of the hypochlorous acid.
