I purchased this item in both black and beige about 13 months ago. I have been wearing one-piece shapewear exclusively for decades. I've invested in dozens of styles and ran into many problems which I describe below. But this garment not only sates nearly every desire for me, but it's also ridiculously underpriced compared to other products on the market. That's a good thing, of course.As for fit, I am short waisted and a bit think around the midsection. I have a lot of back fat and not much of a waist. I HATE any kind of bra or panty lines. I''m 5'5" and weigh about 173 (although I weighed as much as 189 when I purchased this item the first time). My normal bra size is between 38DD and 40DD, so I purchased the 40DD. My one and only complaint about the fit is that I wish I could adjust the straps to bring them up just a little bit more. This is probably because I am short waisted. Bringing "the girls" up just 1" higher makes a huge difference in how clothes fit me. Because I paid only $28-$30 per items, and because these items look no worse for wear after dozens of washes, I have no qualms about paying $10 to have my seamstress adjust my straps for me. I am still paying less than I paid for other shapewear that didn't make me nearly as happy.This has, by far, been the best for my purposes. Here's why.The fit is perfect. I have never found a fit this good with shapewear. The bra fits me perfectly and the body is very comfortable. It's easy to get off and on. I hate to wrestle with getting shapewear on. There may be times when I have a particular outfit that is really clingy or requires more definition in the bust when I wear shapewear with longer legs or a more defined bra. But for 90% of what I wear, this item is perfect.I wash my shapewear in the washer and hang it to dry because I wash them so often. I've slipped up a number of times and put them through the dryer. Unlike many other similar items, there has been no obvious damage to the shapewear. After rotating my seven pieces over the course of 13+ months, they pretty much look like they did the day I purchased them, although they are a slight bit more comfortable. Not loose by any means, just less stiff.I have found the stretchy lace one-piece items also work well for me and MAY have a bit more "suck in" action. However, the elastic in the lace seems to irritate my skin. As well, the elastic starts to decompose after very little use. So while they are prettier and have a bit more hold, as a daily item they don't cut it.If they made this same garment with a more defined bra cup, I'd buy 20 of them without hesitation. That's my only complaint about this item. I'm a creature of comfort and my skin tends to be easily irritated by tight clothes and direct contact with elastic. This makes finding the perfect shapewear a challenge. But today I am ordering six more of this style of body briefer even though my original seven are in perfect condition. I figured I didn't want to risk them being discontinued and sometimes it's hard to get my laundry done every week because of my extensive travel schedule. Obviously, I'm a huge fan and think you will be, too.

Perfect for tight fitting dresses

I love this shaper. It’s actually comfortable! It makes all of your jiggly bits look smooth and gives the girls enough support. I wear one of these EVERY TIME I wear a dress or jumpsuit, and sometimes when I wear pants. I’ve bought 3 black ones and 2 nude ones over the years, and I’ll keep buying them. Comfortable, smoothing, great price. I’ve tried so many shapers over the years and wasted so much money on expensive pieces that just sit in the drawer because they are so uncomfortable. This is definitely an essential.

I got this to wear under a somewhat seethrough dress and it fit perfectly, to size. It smoothes things out, but will not press them in too much, which means, it is comfortable sitting down :-)The absolute DOWNSIDE is the freakin' chemical smell that did not disappear after washing, air drying or fabric spray! It has been hanging on a rack for over a month now, in hopes it would air out - my closet smells like a chemical factory!!! I am not going to wear it on a regular basis, who knows what toxins are in there???!!! What a shame. The fit and look is perfect, but the zero stars for smell pulled this review to a total of 3 stars, on a good day.

I've been a dancer for 50 years and body briefers are my secret to maintaining a smooth, flat, non-lumpy, shapely look - it’s only thing I wear under my clothing. I ditched my bras and panties long ago. Over the past 5 decades, I've worn many different body briefers, always looking for the perfect combination of thin but strong spandex, lightweight but high quality fabric, a seamless appearance under clothing (including underneath body hugging yoga pants), with no backfat or bra bulge, a perfect width, a flat strap not too narrow, not too wide, that tapers from bra to shoulder, the cups are excellent supportive bra coverage that holds my girls up at beautifully, at the perfect height and angle - no sagging! My husband of 40 yrs says its pretty and alluring like the '40's pin up girls and that is just the look I love. The body briefer spandex is firm enough to keep me smooth and flat under my glamour wear, but comfortable enough to lay around in. I love the touch of lace in just the right places because it adds to that all important retro-sexy look that is very pretty while still doing its job. I love (and my husband does too), the Full bottom coverage which NPL under most fabrics, exactly what I want - a nice, thin supportive but not tight fabric with invisible non stitch edging and strong center seam for shapely, no-uni-butt look - classy & professional in or out of the office. No jiggle/flappy thong-butt wanted! In my semi-senior years I find myself in demand for modeling in fashion shows and I can wear this body briefer in the big open changing room with dignity and modesty while the photogs, techs, coordinators and semi-nude models clutching their arms awkwardly - all walk right by us. I cant say enough about this body briefer that I've relied on for over 5 years now. I simply love it!

This product holds nicely to your skin without creating too much pressure and an indent. The cup area did not crush my breasts nor did it cut them off. They sat in perfectly. For reference, I am a 36 DD, size 30/31 pant… and the 36 DD fit perfectly. If you are much smaller in the waist, you likely won’t feel much compression.

After reading lots of reviews I decided to take a risk and order this body suit, and from my experience it is always a risk as I have had to return every other brand I have tried so far.I have periodically tried all in one body suits only to find them so difficult to put on and uncomfortable, almost like they are made for people who don't need to wear this kind of garment in the first place. This leaves you feeling worse than you did before you bought them.Being what is classed as European shape, larger at the top with smaller hips, buying any one piece items such as dresses etc. often results in them being too small on the top or too big on my bottom half. So I looked carefully at the sizing and the reviews of buyers who have similar sizes and shapes to me. The majority of people tend to buy their regular bra size so I went with that.At 58 years old I am 5' 7" and weigh 165lbs with 38DD bra size. I am a size 16 at the top and a 12/14 on the bottom.I was excited and nervous about the arrival of the parcel, thinking it's going to be another epic fail. Another situation where I can't get into the item or the difference in fit between the top and bottom would be too great. I am delighted to say that this was not the case.Firstly, I sat down and stepped into the bodysuit with the bra section folded over. It glided on easily over my torso and then I fit the upper bra section. The bra fits perfectly and the mid section smooths my problematic midsection. Listen to those that say, this is not a garment that will make you look like Betty Boop, it does have light compression which gives you a streamlined look and evens out any lumps and bumps.If my back did not have any fat, I could possibly have gone for a 36DD, which would have given me a slightly tighter cinch. However, given my situation this would have caused me to have rolls pushing out of the back of the bodysuit. I would rather have a smoothing and slight cinch than be conscious of unsightly rolls.The pant section does have a slight gather round my buttocks, but nothing terrible. The length of the garment is ample, and for my height I used the tightest hook and eye closure. I did not have any difficulty opening and closing the hooks and eyes. I will have a play with adjusting the straps and see if that evens out the small gather. If not, and these bodysuits are going to feature as my underwear staple, I may have my seamstress change the hooks and eyes to Velcro so I have more flexibility in adjusting the fit.The material and lace are very pretty and I feel feminine at the same time as having my mid section under better control. I like the nude colour as it works perfectly under any colour. I will be ordering another in black come pay day!Thank you Bali for a sensible product that does not exclude those of use with a few curves here and there.

I returned the first one because the body was loose, cup size was fine. The smaller size was perfect. I have since ordered a second one. Very comfortable!
