CalphalonClassic Nonstick Sauce Pan with Cover, 1.5 quart, Grey

This was a great value for my money. I love Kevlon it last forever and it’s a good sturdy pan. Definitely worth the money.

I’m finally replacing this pan that I’ve had for around 10 years. They hold up so well over time, are easy to clean, and require so little oil to cook with. The one I’m replacing has started to lose the nonstick coating after 3-4 times per week use over the 10 years. Hands down best pans I’ve purchased.

Heats evenly and great quality. Pour spouts make it easy to get every drop out. Cleans easily.

I first used this pot when I stayed at a friend's home for a few weeks and labeled it "the perfect pot." It is the perfect size for one person's pasta, soup, etc. With spouts on both sides it is easy to use and pour - no need to worry about picking it up with "the right hand" to be able to pour. The strainer lid means no additional dish to clean. And it is super easy to wash / clean. (I was using it every day and would hand wash it after use so it was ready for the next day's dinner.) All that said, when my *new* pot arrived it was not in the factory box and was missing any warranty or care or other information. The online system response to my complaint was "Contact the manufacturer." I am very disappointed in the seller not the pot.

I got this pot to replace a teflon pot I had that had shed all its teflon into my digestive system. I loved the old pot. It was nice and thick and had good heat distribution. So I was concerned when I got this one because it's much thinner. I was concerned it would lead to scorching.The first thing I made was a pot of rice to see if the bottom of the rice would burn or become crusty. I'm happy to say that the pot performed admirably. And the rice didn't stick in the slightest. I now love this pot.I have one issue with it, though. The lid doesn't fit very snugly. This creates a problem when making rice because to make the perfect rice, you have to get your rice and water proportions just right. But when you've got a leaky lid that gives off a ton of steam, the rice ends up not fully cooked. That means you have to add a smidgeon more water than you normally would to produce the perfect pot of rice just to account to the water lost through steam.And don't think I mistakenly had the lid turned to the "pour" position because I didn't.So far, this is just a minor inconvenience. It's hard to say how I'll feel about it in the future. Maybe I'll grow accustomed to it and not even notice anymore. Or maybe it'll be like a stone in my shoe and begin to bother me more and more as time goes on. We shall see.It's an attractive pot, too, I should say.

This Caphalin pan was a replacement to a previous one I owned. This one is much lighter and easier to handle. It’s a little smaller than what I holds enough content. It also makes the perfect popcorn in a pan. Love this pan and Caphalin products .

I love my new little Calphalpn pot: excellent for melting butter, toasting spices, mixing small amounts of things. Durable and cooks evenly.

These are almost all sold as part of a much bigger set in department stores, so I was really glad to fine them offered a single piece. Other reviews have suggested the nonstick coating comes off too easily, but I’ve not had any issues. Not really showing in the photo is that the lid has a handy grid on the inside that allows for draining liquid out on either side, and the pot has a small pour spout on o each side that is helpful for avoiding spills. Also not showing are some volume marks on the inside that indicate 2-5 cups or 16-40 oz which can be handy sometimes. As w/ pretty much all nonstick cookware, you have to be careful not to overheat or use any metal tools inside, clean it carefully, and it should hold up well for many years.

It’s just a nice smaller pot. I luv the inside measuring cups...the lid fits nicely. Good quality.
