Bought these for my bin shed as the ones that came with it failed as to weak. Easy to install and work a treat.

I bought these to use on a foot stool that lid comes off, I’ve just opened them to fix them on but they do not move? Think they are seized? Hoping that once fixed the weight will help them move but my partner says they should be able to move in and out when pushed before fixing them, he says they are no good and seized up, not sure if I can return them as have had them a few weeks now before looking at them, have missed the window for return by a couple of days

Bought theses to install on my under stair storage. Very powerful and strong. Excellent quality.

No instructions on installation (it would be handy)

I don't know why I didn't read the reviews for these before I bought them, these arrived seized/jammed/absolutely no movement in them. Of course I would rate zero stars if that was an option.

Had some cheaper 300N stays for a wooden bin shed. The older ones were made out of some super thin, bendable metal - which bent and broke after a few months.These ones are much better - closer to the actual 300N muted, and they're made out of actual steel instead. Much tougher and I think these will last. There's no flexing while it closes.Only small negative is that they're a little too violent on opening - but that's on me, I think 200-250N is probably better suited to what I need. Can't blame the seller/manufacturer for that though, so won't knock any stars off.
