Great desk! Ordered the Mahogany and it looks like a light espresso, dark cherry. But beautiful color in person. The shipping was extremely fast, ordered it Tuesday and got it the next day. You have to call the delivery arrangement number that was emailed to you after you make the purchase of this desk. The sooner you call, the sooner you can get this desk fast. I believe regardless of which size you order, a call has to be made to the trucking company to process your order immediately.PS- There is no scheduled delivery, you have to call the trucking company first and then they will confirm when the delivery will be processed and made. So make sure you are at home or a guardian or family member in your house at the time.-Shipment and Receiving-Like my statement above, the trucking company called ahead really early to confirm if I was present at the house, at the time of the delivery was made. The desk size I ordered was the 72 inch desk which was extremely huge in person, the delivery man and I had trouble getting the desk upstairs but he was freaking awesome and helpful.-Assembly and Instructions-WARNING: Two people are required to assemble this desk together. Happened to assemble this myself took like an hour because no one was home but knowing me, I was very excited and impatient to wait, so I was able to do it myself but because I did it myself I had to find a hard and tedious way to assemble this thing but happened to throw my back out as a sacrifice. Don't assemble this by yourself! The Instruction was really easy and straightforward. One page diaphragm instruction. All you really need is a screwdriver and you are all set.-Pros-+Really happy, lots of space for my gaming setup and for my keyboard and mouse. And also lots of space for my homework as well, which I wished for, for ages.+The lip in the back of the desk has a lot of space, I believe like 4 or 6 inches? You could put a triple monitor clamp in there if you wish to do so without any issue.+This 72 inch desk is enormous and it really gets the job done. I feel like I can put my triple monitors in and I could have more space!+The material of the desk is laminated wood but really doesn't feel like it all of the time as it's really sturdy. Oh yeah. It's really sturdy. Did I mention that?+ Price- I paid 180 dollars for this huge 72 inch desk with a fast free shipping, next day delivery. Are you Kidding me?? If you're looking to spend any money on a good desk, GO FOR THIS NOW!!!! I nearly spent 240 dollars for a desk that is only a 60 inch desk and the depth is like 24 inches which is unreasonably expensive and this desk is like 36 inches of depth which leaves lots of room for my arm!!! For 180 dollars!!! Best experience for your dollar.-Cons--Upon my research before I bought this desk I was aware that the privacy panel was covered up, restricting access to any backside for outlet portsand whatnot. And It is confirmed. Only problem is that I have to bring my 6ft power surge protector so my power cords could reach further.-There are two access holes for your cords in each side of the desk, but only in front of the privacy panel, not the back.-No drawers, you have to buy it separately-This desk might have to be disassembled if I have to move.-Result Overall-Despite of the privacy panel completely blocked, it really does a good job hiding the cords, benefiting more of the appearance of the desk looking professional and brand spanking gorgeous! If you want to have more space to game while doing homework or watching a movie while game and paying the bills and doing homework, this desk is definitely the tool for you! Gets the job done while leaving you satisfied and more room to smile!

I love all the room on my new desk
While this is, I assume, intended as office furniture, I use this for my main PC at home, with the back pushed up against a wall.CABLE MANAGEMENTThe desk intends all the cables to be hidden at your feet, so the two holes in the top, are on the chair/person side of the privacy wall. Because I want all the cables hidden on the other side, I ended up buying a 2.25" hole bit and desk hole covers from Home Depot, and drilled 4 holes in the desk myself (two on the top, on the other side of the privacy wall, and two at my feet in the privacy wall). This has allowed me to have 0 cables at my feet, and that is wonderful.DURABILITYThese are thick, solid, heavy pieces of wood. I am very pleased with each piece. What I wish were better are the connection hardware pieces for the sides. It's still just cam lock fasteners like every piece of cheap Walmart furniture. I wish there were corner brackets with screws instead. As a result, I still worry about shoving it across the floor, not wanting to put lateral pressure on it. That's not to say it isn't sturdy, it is. I wouldn't hesitate doing an jig on the desktop, but still...spring a little for better hardware Alera.ASSEMBLYDefinitely a two-man job. I did most of it myself, but did need my wife's help at numerous points to move things around.SUMMARYOverall, I am pleased with it. If my wife decided she wanted a bigger desk (the best part of this is the surface area, with plenty of room for three 27" monitors), I'd probably order another one of these so they matched. The perfect desk is hard to find, and this one, not perfect, is good enough for me.

Sturdy, great quality desk. If you're comparing just go with Alera.
I bought this little desk because I needed a smaller sized computer desk to fit in my bedroom. Where most of the desks I looked at are 60" wide I loved that this came in 47" variety. Just big enough to put my gaming monitor and KB+M on with a little room for arms. The desk is sturdy for how simple it was to assemble. Literally the easiest piece of furniture I've ever put together. My 6yr old nephew did most of it actually that's how simple it was. The metal pegs screw in to the metal slots already installed into the wood. Then the wooden pegs just slide in. Just make sure arrows are facing out so the knobs can slide in and match the holes to the knobs and your done! EASY as 1...2...3... literally 15 minute install. I sat on it weighing nearly 200lbs so I know it's going to hold up to whatever you wanna put on it whether it be PC tower or Television. I would buy another Alera desk again but I plan to keep this one for plenty of years.

I love it~
This is perfect. Sturdy and very durable. It was a bit difficult setting it up by myself but if you use your head it will be worth the effort. The shipping was great. The guy came in a delivered it without a problem. He made sure I would be home by calling me early in the morning and texted me 10 min before he arrived. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to anyone who is in need of simple flat desk with lot of surface area.

Easy to assemble
The only thing really to note is that there are more threaded holes than you need for what I can only imagine are desk expansions. The material is solid and the veneer is beautiful. When I say it is solid, the desk top is probably an inch thick and the sides are slightly thicker. The back is the thinnest part and it still comes in at roughly an inch thick. I could probably put a trampoline on it and jump and the thing would hardly flex at all (don't actually try it, you could damage the veneer). The color matches my Hon 38000 Series double pedestal desk almost perfectly, though the wood grain is slightly different.
