Used this to connect a 25 year old Panasonic DVD player to a modern Samsung television. Easy to connect and play. Don't expect HD quality, but it is acceptable and the sound is fine. I found the quality improved the longer the DVD was played so maybe an old player just needs to crank into action!

Used product to be able to use old Panasonic DVD recorder with new tv.Was sceptical at first but it worked well. Picture quality on playback was not the best but acceptable. Saved having to buy a new Panasonic Recorder.

Who has a skart lead at hand. This skart lead with adaptor HDMI is an excellent alternative. Worth the money. Would recommend.

Ottimo prodotto. Avevo un vecchio videoregistratore combo cassette/dvd con solo l'uscita scart ed il nuovo smart tv con solo l'ingresso hdmi....con questo adattatore li ho collegati assieme con estrema semplicità mantenendo ottima la qualità della riproduzione sia video che audio. Consigliato.

Im Juli 24 für 17,99€ gekauft.Ich benötigte diesen, um meinen neuen Fernseher Grundig 32 VOE 631 mit einem alten SD-Reciever mit Aufnahmefunktion (eingebaute Festplatte) zu verbinden und letzteren weiterzuverwenden. Dieser ist zwar mehr als 15 Jahre alt und schafft halt nur SD aber dafür funktioniert er 1A. Bildinhalt wird genauso gut wiedergegeben wie der SD-Standard davor war. Logischerweise :)Natürlich sieht es im direkten Vergleich zu HD-Bildern nicht sso scharf aus, aber m.E. ist das einfach nur der Unterschied er einfach zwischen SD und HD besteht.Die "Installation" war kinderleicht. Einfach die Bilder zum Artikel oder das in englisch beschriebene Schaubild, was dabei liegt beachten: SCART-Anschluss in den Reciever, HDMI-Anschluss in den TV, beides am Konverter verbinden und dieser benötigt separat eine Stromquelle, um arbeiten zu können. Daran denken, dass es ein Standardsmartphoneladekabel ist, was beiliegt für diesen Zweck, also brauch man einen Adapter für die Steckdose. Was logischerweise jedes Ladegerät vom Smartphone kann. An der Außenseite ist noch ein Schalter, um 720 pixel oder 1080 pixel einzustellen. Bei mir geht sogar beides auf dem TV. Wenn's nicht funzt, einfach dort umschalten. Kabel sind alle ausreichend lang genug. Ansonsten im Sonderfall einfach noch ein Ersatzkabel dazubestellen.Also rundum gelungenes Produkt. Nur weiterzuempfehlen.
