Smooth and Powerful.
Almost 2 1/2 years of occasional use and it still works like new. Only issue thats come up is one of my spools line retainer peg is now loose, but still holding. I liked the 10,000 reel enough to buy a spare spool so i can have a braid and mono set up. Now I’m picking up the 8000. Paired with a good 12-13’ rod it casts big weights a mile. An amazing value.

this reel is smooth, quiet and light wieght for an 8000
so far nothing bad to say! used for total of 60hrs fishing , so far so good . if it lasts , and i think it will from how the quality feels . tica samira long cast sbat8000 . feels and operates as good as higher priced reels . i am very happy . give it 5 stars if it lasts. the web site tica-fishing claims up to 10years ? i do maintain and service my reels on a yearly basis and properly maintain after fishing sessions , which is a major reel saver
