I decided to take this product because I know it's a great company and because of the study by Gerald Mullins, MD of Johns Hopkins that I read about on one of the reviews. It's google-able, so can be found online. I did a microbiome test by Thorne and they found that I had an overgrowth of some bad bacteria and yeast. So, I started taking this along w/some other products recommended by Thorne. [Pre-fiber, fiber, probiotics and prebiotics etc.] The thing about killing stuff in your gut is - it dies and then your body has to get rid of it. sometimes the body gets overwhelmed by the bad guys, even when they're dead. its called a HERX reaction. also google-able if you don't know what it is. so, if you feel badly after taking this product, it could be because of a HERX reaction and not because the product is faulty in any way. the opposite. its doing its job, ie killing the bad stuff. I would suggest starting slowly. 1 a day for a few days, then 2 a day if things are going ok. Also, food grade clay and food grade charcoal are also supposed to help get the bad stuff out. I'm not a doctor or medical professional. do your own research. I do detox baths, either clay + seaweed or epsom salts sometimes w/charcoal. that's a great way to detox because the bad stuff comes out your skin too, and it can get alot out in one bath. So, know that getting rid of the bad stuff in your gut takes a while. it's a marathon and not a sprint. start very slowly, work up to the suggested dose gradually. Since I did the test and have been following the recommendations and taking these products, I feel alot better, which means alot. I still think I have several more weeks to go, I'll get another microbiome test and see what that says. Best of luck!!

Helped with my UTI infection. Great product!

Thank you so much to the people who make this, you are my heroes. This product cleared my SIBO and restored my life. After 3 years of having SIBO and several failed rounds of Xifaxan and Antrantil I was preparing for a life of disability (at the age of only 30). Now, 3 months after treatment I’m feeling much better & am employed for the first time in years. I took the maximum recommended dose of AR & BR for 6 weeks. During those 6 weeks I felt worse than ever. After the 6 weeks were up I didn’t feel better at all and thought it hadn’t worked. To my surprise I tested negative on a breath test and in the following weeks began to slowly feel better with the most improvement occurring 4-8 weeks after treatment ended. 3 months later I’m feeling 90% better and am still improving. The side-effects are gnarly but push through.

Item packed super well. I've taken these before and never got stomach upset. The health benefits of the herbs are what has me coming back.

Sadly, this product came to me a second time with capsules that had burst. This one also had a cracked lid. When I opened the bottle I was overwhelmed by the smell of the oregano oil which had poured out of the capsules.

I've bought these a couple of times through Amazon and they have really helped with my SIBO. They are easy to swallow and Metagenics has great products. Disappointed in the cost through Amazon. It's way cheaper to buy through Metagenics.

Works well for IBS just very strong for me as I am low weight. I just took 1 at a time Further test showed it worked well
