Command Mac Parts (922-9557, 922-9953) CPU Fan - Apple Mac Mini Unibody A1347 (Mid 2010-Late 2014)

When i got this fan and installed it the fan works really well but it is loud if u care about the quietness of the fan noise but if your not then this fan really pushes air out alot better than the standard apple fan. I noticed a major difference from the apple fan and this one by putting my hand on the back of the mac mini i have and i felt more air than the lame one and it also is alot cooler than the apple fan made it.

I have a Mac Mini 2012 i7. My mac was throttling like crazy for the last month and I couldn't figure out why. I even re-installed mac OS. Finally got around to installing a CPU temperature monitor noticed it was high and my fan was running at 100% all the time. I decided to purchase this fan and try it out. All I can say is WOW! My mac is usable again and not thermal throttling anymore. As a bonus, the fan does run at 5000 RPM 24/7. Highly recommended and very easy to install just 4 screws. One word of advice is be-careful unplugging your old fan and new fan to not screw up the pins.UPDATE: FAN DIED AFTER 2 YEARS

The fan is perfect - meltdown days when rendering a video are over. BUT. When you pull the old fan - EXTRACT THE CAPTIVE SCREW because (while the 3 others are not "captive" and you just re-use them) - there is no "captive screw" included with the Odyson fan - and of course it's not really something to be expected as it's a seperate part - but YOU NEED IT. So push it out of the old fan and push it into the new one and all's good. Unfortunately, with the new Odyson fan working, there's no more heating my morning bagel on my Mac Mini. LOL

Good replacement fan, I changed it myself very easily.
