Overbuilt and quiet
I have used these dimmers throughout my house for 4 years now without failure or should I say, for the dimmers we have not overloaded. I recently replaced one to find the plastic case melted. My wife added more track lighting fixtures to the track that this dimmer was installed on. She claimed to have changed the bulbs to 35W when in fact they were 50W. So our dimmer, rated for 600W, has actually been dimming 935W, remaining on for over 8 hours a day for the past 4 years.. without buzzing. That's a well built product.

This is exactly what we were looking for.
We got this to use with our under the cabinet puck lights and it works perfect. We previously bought a different dimmer but it only allowed a few settings This one has about 8 settings and wit stays where you set it the next time you turn it all. Great price too!!!

Works, but the unit was repackaged
I received a repackaged unit. I kept it because I needed to finish the project. Wiring was a bit difficult, but doable.I would buy again.

I like cooper but I hate the amount of defective units
I’ve had cooper dimmers in my apartment since 2007. And I guess I’ve been happy with cooper but the rate of failure on new products is too high! I do have to say that the first dimmer to fail was on mid-2014 (office). And the second one on mid-2015 (bedroom). Back on 2014 I bought a brand new dimmer from a local store on 2014 but never installed it. Now finally decided to stop procrastinating and get both dimmers replaced. So, I bought another 2 dimmers from amazon, 1 to replace the dimmer from the bedroom and another one to keep it as a spare. I had 3 brand new cooper dimmers. Yay! I replaced the one from the bedroom and I was happy to see it working again. Great! Now the one from the office, ok, I installed the RF9534WS that I bought back on 2014 from the local store and to my surprise the product is defective, as it does turn on the light and changes the intensity but can never be turn off, it stays always on. I was truly pissed because I bought this item long ago and it’s out of the return period. Brand new, never damaged never used, and it’s just not working. Ok, I blamed myself for procrastinating. Luckily I had another one that I bought as a spare from amazon, great! Let’s install that one and get this done. Well… guess what? Not working either! This one doesn’t even turn on! It doesn’t work at all! NOTHING! And trust me I did several tests to make sure it wasn’t my electrical installation or anything else. I returned this defective item, but it brings me to the question: What the heck with the failure rate on these new cooper devices? If I want to replace 1 dimmer, am I supposed to buy 3 dimmers just to be sure one of those 3 will work? It’s totally unacceptable. At least, once you get a functioning cooper dimmer it will last for several years (or at least that’s what I’m expecting). But do not buy anything of cooper dimmers switches to keep as spare! As I said the failure rate is too high! And make sure once you get your dimmer, you install it right away because it’s probably defective and if you don’t act fast you will probably lose your return period and you will be wasting money. And these are not cheap products to buy and just throw away if is defective.

Perfect Replacement
This was a perfect fix for a defective switch. Repair was complete in less than 5 minutes.

Looks and works good, sounds bad
I installed one of these master switches (if you're installing one of these, you must install the master. Just installing the slave alone will not work) in my bathroom, and it looked good and was quiet. When I turned on the light there was an audible buzzing sound that wasn't present in my previous dimmer which was an analog, not digital switch. I replaced this with a Leviton switch which is completely silent. I don't know if the problem is present in all of these switches but it certainly was in mine. The switch is pretty cool. You tap the large button to turn the light on, and then the rocker switch at the side is then held down to either increase or decrease the intensity of the light depending upon whether you press the top or bottom of the switch. There was no step that I could see, the light dimmed smoothly and continuously. I also liked that when tapped the light ramped up to the last light level, instead of going full brightness forcing you to dim it or requiring that you hold the switch down to set the light level at turn on. You could also set the dim level using the rocker switch and then turn the light on to that dim level. Genius! Two LEDs of the 7 remained lit at all times: the very bottom one indicates power and was orange on my model, the second, which was green indicated approximate light level.I would have kept this were it not for the incessant buzzing noise. It was a shame really, I like it much more than the switch I am using instead.3 stars because the buzzing made me replace it, but without the buzzing this is a 5 star switch.

Nice dimmer switch!
I installed this a week ago and so far it's great. It works like it's supposed to. There is no humming sound whatsoever from the unit that I have. It's also easy to install to a single pole device. A+ so far!

Nice, but some flaws
I installed a few of these units. The overall design is very nice. They replace existing switched without a problem. There are however a couple of issues with these:They incorporate a feature that limits the full voltage going to the lights. This saves energy, but lower the intensity of your bulbs. This a a big issue if you are using L.E.D. bulbs at an already limited wattage. There should be a way to bypass this, but there isn't.I purchased masters and slaves and found that they are not consistent in their design. The masters have two indicator lights that are on all the time an orange and green L.E.D. The slaves only have the orange L.E.D. on when they are actually on. I contacted the company and they said they have gone through design changes. You would think they would be consistent throughout their designs. Bad choice.

it’s not for LED as claimed..
says it works with LED.. total nonsense.. it will turn on and off.. the gradient between the brightness levels is huge steps with lots of seizure like spasms in between..
