Fairly easy to assemble for non practical folk! I liked mine so much I bought another for my mother, who is delighted with hers. I bought the silver one which seems neither silver nor gilt but fits in unobtrusively with her decor.You can faff around with the simple settings to your heart’s content - want just the uplighter on, or maybe just the spotlight, no problem - or as I do for craft work have both on, then when I’ve finished my craft I turn the spotlight off and just have the uplighter on for general room lighting, turning the white tone to the warmer white. Saves having all the main lights on in the room - which must be saving electricity.Not had more than a few weeks but very pleased so far.8 or so months later the 2nd lamp has started to flash, it is a fault with the plug as evidenced by fact if I switch the plug to the other one, the lamp itself is fine. Alas I do not know who to contact for a replacement. I still love the other lamp and just hope I can get a replacement plug.

This light has three light tones. I mostly use the natural daylight tone. During the Autumn and Winter months it’s often gloomy at around 3pm. Having the natural daylight setting on the uplighter in the room is very nice at those times as I don’t fell so much like I actually have the lights on and it’s unobtrusive because you can also dim it.The remote control controls the two lights, the uplighter and the reading light, and can adjust both the brightness and tone. It’s also magnetic so you can attach it to the frame. This is good because you’re less likely to mislay it.One complaint I have though, is that when I assembled it, the wire comes out from the from of the stalk. I can’t adjust it because it all screws together.

This lamp was a bit fiddly to assemble as you have to screw the individual poles together. It would have been a bit easier with 2 people. The lamps are nice and bright. Remote worked straight away. Be careful as there is a plastic wrap around the batteries. Need to take it off. Love the remote as I'm disabled and can adjust either of the lights easily now. Also like the fact it will use a lot less power as it replaced a halogen lamp.

I bought a far more expensive LED uplighter from lights.co.uk which i threw away as it was defective and could not be assembled as the screw threads in the middle did not work so when picking the lamp up to move it fell apart, absolutely shocking. I love this uplighter and the remote works really well, does not have to be pointed directly at the light to change settings!

Easy to assemble & stands sturdy, both lights can be dimmed as well as colour changed via the nifty remote or on the light itself, both lights can be independently controlled and are good & bright on full tilt or you can set the mood by dimming & colour change, much cheaper to run than my old halogen set... what's not to like

Looks good in the lounge. Bright light which can be easily adjusted by remote. Small light is excellent as a reading lamp.

Bought this to replace another floor lamp which had stopped working. I specifically wanted an LED floor lamp at a sensible price. I liked the reviews for this product so decided to try it.The box is surprisingly small but it's all there and very straightforward to assemble. I love the cool option which provides a beautiful restful light in my lounge. The remote is incredibly useful as you don't have to get up to alter type or brightness of light. It has a magnet which means you can attach it to the lamp if required. I am delighted with this floor lamp and highly recommend it.
