Better quality than I expected
Yes it’s thin-ish, but it is put together pretty well. The patch was tight - almost too tight- had to fight it a bit at first to unlatch. Really pretty though. Everyone loved it.

Beautiful....but
I love the quality and look of this box. But, when you open the box, there is nothing to keep the lid from flying back, flipping over and off the table.

This beautiful handcrafted keepsake box was just what I was looking for as a nice gift to my Aunt. When I opened it up to make sure everything was ok before I send to her, I was truly amazed by the quality, and the design of the heart. Great gift that will last a lifetime.

Memorial box
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This box looks much nicer in the picture. It also looks a lot deeper than it actually is. I purchased the dark wood and was a bit disappointed that the beautiful heart printed on the top of the box, wasn’t an eye catcher. Unless you were up close, it really didn’t even show up. I had intended to use it as a memorial box for my dogs ashes and a few of his favorite things, but it didn’t have enough space or height to hold what I wanted in it, so I returned it.
