A 2021 TOP READ! Unforgettably Phenomenal! 🔥🖤🥰
ALWAYS BROTHERSBravo!! How in the world do I even begin to sum up a masterpiece like this?! Complex, unforgettable, unputdownable, suspenseful, sexy, dark and swoony. My heart broke as much as it healed. GAH! I will never forget these characters."But what good is a pawn, who can check, without a mate?”The Finish Line finished me y’all! Exodus had destroyed me in a way I wasn’t sure I was capable of coming back from. I mean I know things had to go the way they did and that it was in order for us to get the ending point we got in Exodus. But for months it was on my mind. Then when I found out we were getting this book I was terrified and simultaneously excited. Truthfully I am never in my life going to be ready to let these characters go, so the fact we got this book, a lengthy one, so full of amazingness was EVERYTHING!!This book, this phenomenal and heartbreaking story is Tobias King and Cecilia’s story told in dual POV that takes us back and forth from his younger days to present time gives us in-depth looks into who he really is and how he came to be the man he is. You feel his every emotion and the unimaginable guilt he’s plagued with every day. It was heartbreaking. I cried so much. Like completely cleaned me out of tears y’all.“I don’t deserve her.”Cecilia’s one of the most booty kickin heroine’s I’ve ever read. She’s gorgeous and tough. She’s got brains and beauty and is steps ahead of everyone else. She shocked the hades outta me in this book most of all. Talk about JAW DROPPED! I’m in complete awe of the things she pulled off in this book. That is all I can really say as I refuse to spoil anything. #SpoilersSuck“Well played, queen.”In closing let me say The Ravenhood Series is one of the best series I have read in my ENTIRE ADULT LIFE. It’s one that will stick with long after you’ve closed the pages and you will NOT be okay. You never want to let these characters go. But you are happy with how it ended. Please read this series. It’s absolutely perfection. Kate Stewart poured her heart and soul out onto the pages of these books and it shows. I’m not likely to forget about these characters anytime soon, I just know they will live in my heart for years to come. Yes, they are that amazing!A 2021 TOP READ!All the Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️So Much hotness 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Can you handle it?🌪HEA 😍🥰(no cliffhanger)

Solid ending to a great series
Review for The Finish Line by Kate StewartI put off reading the Ravenhood series for a long time because everyone mentioned how heart-wrenching and heart-breaking it was supposed to be. I went in expecting the same level of emotional devastation as books like The Nightingale or The Woman. But honestly, it wasn’t on that level of heartbreak, and I regret waiting so long to dive in! Yes, it’s emotional, but it’s more bittersweet than soul-shattering, so if you’re hesitant about starting it for that reason, don’t be.As for The Finish Line, it’s a solid ending to an incredible series, though not my favorite of the trilogy. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. The spice level is a solid 3 out of 5, and while the emotional depth is there, I found myself a little bored at times. It didn’t pull me in as much as the previous books, and I was frustrated by some of the character dynamics.Spoiler Thoughts:I couldn’t get over Tobias’s shift in this book. In the last one, he was dominant, intense, and captivating. Here, he felt too human—almost mundane. Seeing him sitting on the couch, doing nothing, and being submissive just felt off. I also didn’t love how easily Cecilia’s plan worked. For someone who was built up as a mastermind, it didn’t seem realistic that Tobias could be so easily fooled. If I were Cecilia, I think I’d have a hard time reconciling the dominant, irritating-in-the-best-way Tobias I fell in love with and the subdued version we see here. The ending was satisfying, but the road to get there—especially all the cat-and-mouse dynamics—felt unnecessarily drawn out.Overall, though, the series is still amazing. It’s emotional, romantic, and beautifully written, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves angsty, layered romance. Don’t let the fear of heartbreak hold you back—you’ll be missing out on something truly special.
