Bought as a replacement for a bedside clock which gave up. (What an excellent choice) we didn't want a clock which would light up the whole room. This clock is brilliant not to big /not to small just the right size. The brightness can be adjusted to suit your room and the quality of the clock is brilliant looks good too. I’m delighted with this bedside alarm clock. Easy to insert battery in case of power cut! Simple and clear instructions to set time. Lovely clear face with display that can be bright or dimmed. Great value for money too.

This is a great bedside alarm clock that works fine for a year or two then fails. I should know, I've bought four of them, and am about to buy a fifth because the last one has just failed too! So, why am I throwing my money away like this? Well, I just haven't seen another alarm clock that ticks all the boxes - red LED, large display and configurable time-zoned dimmer. It is very annoying that the manufacturer would build such a well-conceived product so poorly, and I have knocked two stars off what would otherwise have been a 5-star review, but pragmatically I'm just deciding to spend an average £10 a year on alarm clocks, which is less than a couple of drinks at the pub.

Love this clock! just the right size of the numbers (large enough to see, small enough not to stand out in the room), the red colour is "flat" and NOT the annoying neon-like flickering one, functionality is precisely what I would want in a simple useful unit: no unnecessary bells and whistles, hence no confusing unnecessary buttons or switches. Brightness adjustment (incl. auto-adjust) are very nice features. And the clock is pretty accurate: I have not had to adjust the time even once over the past few months. Kudos and recommend!

Everything about this alarm clock is great. It automatically dims the brightness as the evening progresses so that by the time most people go to sleep, the red display is subtle, rather than too bright. The alarm buzzer starts out softly then increases to a level that wakes you up gently, rather than a sudden loud buzz that catapults you out of bed in one large reflex motion!! I like that there is battery back-up should you inadvertently turn off the main wall switch that control your devices or if there's a power failure. This clock is the perfect size; doesn't take up a lot of space on the bedside table and does not attract dust or lint as black electronics often do. Would definitely recommend and would gift to someone else.
