I had purchased a American Bass that was very similar but under a year of using the American Bass the tentiomiters were becoming scratchy and the frequency adjustment for the subwoofers out started to fail. So I seen this one and noticed after installation it had smoother tuning and Tiffany RCAs. Going on 7 months using it and I'm very impressed. My Alpine head unit paired with this made a big difference. Very satisfied so far. And the pre amp/ line driver is powerful.
