This book is filled with stereotypes however the writer takes time to explore them and shares her experiences and views that balance them out.The negatives honestly made me laugh but that is because I'm Jamaican and know the truth. Some of the advice is helpful for women that are learning to navigate relationships and can be applied to situations with men in general. Some Jamaican men are truly wonderful people.

I found the I information in the book as very useful . It had some content that I didn't know & it confirmed a lot of what I did know .very well written & a joy to read I shall be buying all the books as they are all so well written Thank you Empress Jah bless you & keep you safe One Love alWays xx

I found this book very useful it is a true explanation of the way Jamaican men really do behave. I would recommend it to anyone to read.

This short book is a Jamaican woman's instructional guide on how to date a Jamaican man. The book assumes that the reader is 'a woman from foreign' who has fallen for a Jamaican man and wants some idea of how to pursue a longer term relationship with him. This book is conversational rather than a real study of the Jamaican man and gives a little insight into Jamaican attitudes and culture. It reads as though the author is speaking directly at you and makes a series of statements rather than go into any real detail - some tongue in cheek!. However, a lot of what she says is true although it obviously cannot be attributed to EVERY Jamaican man. The long and short of it is every man is an individual - get to know what makes him tick - you may be surprised. A humourous read overall!
