Couldn't be more pleased. We had an apartment with a couple of walls in very poor condition (Pic-1); we filled cracks and holes and sanded it relatively smooth. Strictly followed the hanging directions: Pre-cut to length first (the other reviews are right - you can't cut it wet); 30 sec soaking (yes we used the bathtub); then the full 5-minute curing while we added a roll-on layer of Sherwin Williams Pro-880 wallpaper adhesive. Hung from the top aligning the edge and used the wallpaper smoothing tool in diagonal strokes, pushing out the excess water/adhesive mix and capturing it on the edges and bottom with a large sponge (it's gooey-drippy; cover&tape the floor and wipe up). The paper molded nicely to wall imperfections. Two-person job and we averaged about 12 minutes per piece (our wall was seven strips wide). Dried overnight, caulked the edges and then painted. Perfecto! (Pic-2). One nice surprise we'd not expected was the insulation factor of the vinyl membrane - the surface temperature difference between the papered outside wall and the adjacent outside wall was easily 10 degrees (outside temp about 40F). Overall - could not have worked better: easy to install, beautiful finish and then the insulation bonus. Highly recommended.

A total novice, I was a bit nervous wallpapering for the first time in my life. Not only that, but I'm restoring a 120 year old farmhouse with plaster walls, so I had a lot of cracks, bumps, waves and crooked walls to deal with, plus several layers of wallpaper that had several layers of paint. I tried scraping off the old wallpaper but I kept gouging the plaster with my scraper blade & it was almost impossible to remove, so after several days of TRYING to get an even, flat surface, I decided to look for alternatives like paneling. That's when I discovered this textured, paintable wallpaper. The reviews said it helped conceal bumps & cracks, so I gave it a shot.Glad I did. It turned out BEAUTIFULLY. I'll try to remember to add pics soon! Now, there are a few tips and tricks I learned along the way. I noticed a lot of people had a hard time with the paper ripping easily. That's true, it is delicate. But as long as you're careful, it won't be a problem. This product already has adhesive but I was scared, from the reviews, that it wouldn't be enough on its own, so I purchased additional glue, which I used on half of my room. But I accidentally forgot to use the supplemental adhesive on one row and it turned out perfectly. So I decided to exclusively rely on the paper's adhesive for the remainder of the room. So I'd say, as long you're doing it right (submerging each panel in WARM water immediately prior to application), you do not need extra glue! Next, be sure to use a good squeegee. Applying the right pressure and getting ALL the air out is key. And lastly, be sure to measure each panel to the exact length BEFORE application... because this paper does NOT cut after it gets wet. Repeat, once it's wet, a razor knife rips, not cuts, the paper... which can be very problematic.Coverage. Overall I'm very VERY happy. BUT! You can still see the imperfections through this wallpaper. In fact, my seams are almost entirely invisible. But you can still see the seams from the PREVIOUS wallpaper THROUGH this new textured wallpaper. It's so tightly sealed to the wall, that the imperfections do show. So if your walls are even worse than mine were, then you might want to consider casing it in paneling or something much thicker. I can't wait to show off my before and after pics. But I'm still working on the room so I'll try to come back with those soon.I hope this helped you!

This wallcovering was fairly easy to use but be aware of the amout of paste that will come out as you smooth the paper to the wall. Extra towels are a necessity!

I drywalled my basement myself, and ended up making a ton of mistakes along the way. This wallpaper has been my saving grace. It completely smoothed over the uneven walls and hid the joints between drywall where I didn't do a good job of getting the joint compound on evenly. It was also easy to paint and looks great finished. My only recommendation would be to add a little extra adhesive when applying. It went up okay, but there were a couple of places where I had to add adhesive and re-stick. Otherwise, awesome product.I did notice another reviewer complained about the packaging leaving the wallpaper dented. Mine too had this issue, but it's textured vinyl wallpaper...dents don't matter. Just thought that was worth mentioning. You could literally crumble this into a ball and it will still go on the wall smooth. Don't worry about it if the packaging leaves a little dent or crease. Honestly- it has zero impact on the finished job.

It was easy to put up if you follow the enclosed instructions. I did add very small amount wallpaper paste to edge. May not have needed to do this step but just did as a precaution. The painting was easy and no issues

This wallpaper is very elegant however it can be dressed down as well. Subtle and I love it! Seams do show a bit so you may have to paint it. if you're very particular. Did receive one roll that had blue marks throughout and had to return. Great product, very nice texture.

We love this wallpaper. At first it seemed redundant to paper and then paint but it was easy to put up, no shrinkage at all. No pasting involved just water and waiting 5 minutes before putting up each strip. It gave the walls the slight texture we wanted and held the color we wanted. I am so anxious to finish the two rooms and have a party to show them off.

I started this project last week end. The first roll was great, easy to install, looks great and the product stuck. The next roll I was not as fortunate. There seemed to be problems with the adhesive, the edges would not stick, as the paper dried the lower portions rolled up and dried. The next roll was the same. I have wasted two of the rolls. Have now had to purchase adhesive for the remaining rolls.I am asking for replacement or those two rolls. I would like a response from someone. My name is Susan and my phone number is 239-292-4544.
