I am a minimalist when it comes to hair styling. I minimize heat exposure and damaging treatments to my naturally straight hair. I use this brush when I want an extra polished and sleek look when I actually need to present for a professional meeting. I like this brush because it heats up to 350 or 375 in less than five minutes. I use a heat protection spray before I run this brush slowly through my hair for a few minutes, and it does a great job taming those few flyaway hairs and smoothing out any waviness from sleeping. I like that I'm done with my hair routine in just a few minutes while my hair remains looking sleek and straight for hours with no extra muss or fuss. I'm pleased with this item's performance. The only detraction I might have for the device was the mild smell of burning hair whenever I first started using it without any protective hair product. Once I added a few sprays of heat protection to my hair, that concerning smell went away.

**UPDATE: 2/26/21 - Just bought a second one — first one is still perfect & works 100% the same as Day 1; I bought a second so one is always handy at home or at our vacation cottage! This is the shortcut to a sleek, straight look for my long, wavy hair! I’m amazed at how effective and fast it is to transform “beach hair” to “date night hair!” It’s a reliable and well-made appliance! This is the second heat straightening brush that I owned, and what an improvement: I can’t say enough good things about THIS ONE! It’s far superior to any other one I’ve tried. The design is unique in that the heated bristles are more like rigid fins than hairbrush bristles, which is VERY effective on smoothing and straightening my hair into sleek plaits. I have medium-fine, sort of wavy/sort of straight long hair, and if I don’t blow-dry it with a brush after washing or sleeping on it, it tends to look like a witchy mess. I usually wash it every third day and rely on dry shampoo for an in-between refresh, but I’m impatient about the time and effort it would usually take to get “date night” sleek hair using a standard flat iron (or my old $25 straightening brush from Sally Beauty) on a daily basis. This brush has changed my routine 100% because it’s so FAST! I’ve attached three photos, all taken after I’d spent the day after sitting on the beach in windy, humid, ocean air — and the “frizz effect” was in full bloom. These pics were taken within minutes of each other when I went indoors to style my hair: “The Before”, Then “3 minutes in and one side done”, and “The After” — The whole process only took me about seven or eight minutes from beginning to end, including the time it took to heat the brush up to 410°, which is almost instant. The first day that I used the brush, I had an appointment with my hair stylist for a touchup on my highlights, and she was raving about how smooth and sleek my long hair looked. She’s been taking care of my hair for several years and knows how I normally arrive to the salon so her compliment was genuine — she even asked for the details on my new MiroPure Straightening Brush so she could refer it to her other clients. The bottom line is that this is a well-constructed appliance that does exactly what it promises, and I couldn’t be happier with it… Worth every penny!! (Just to clarify, I give it three stars on drying power because that’s not what it supposed to do. There is no airflow — I did use it on slightly damp but mostly dry hair once and the heat was enough to remove the remaining moisture underneath and around my neck, but I wouldn’t rely on it for transitioning from wet hair, use a blowdryer first.)

This works great! I have medium thickness very wavy hair. It took me longer to blow dry my hair than it did to straighten it with this tool. I never straighten my hair because it’s a hassle having to put it into layers and straighten each section. I literally just brushed my hair with this by pulling it tight and it did the job! Not as pin straight as with a straightener but pretty close. Just made my life a lot easier!

My hair is very thin, though it wasn't always. About sixteen years ago I was diagnosed with alopecia. Although it is not typically associated with pain, in my case it is deeply painful. My scalp is terribly sensitive; my hair follicles are very weak. I have avoided all forms of heat application to my hair for over a decade. This has limited me to basically giving up on having any kind of "look" or "style". This journey with my hair has been, at times, very traumatic and has been a huge source of circumstantial depression. At 37 years old, for the first time since I was 21 years old, I finally have a chance to feel pretty again. What this product means to me is, genuinely & literally, completely LIFE-CHANGING. I am so thankful. This "brush" is so much more then just a brush. It is a very high-quality tool that is allowing me to go out and about feeling good about how I am presenting myself! When you look good, you feel good. With the many choices out there I choose this product for a number of reasons, after watching YouTube reviews and tutorials this is the one I settled on and I know I made the right choice. My life experience will never be the same after this. Now for some words about the brush itself. I have the pink one. It has a bit of a metallic sheen tonit. Cute. The cord is self-rotating which is helpful sometimes. If you want to keep it accessible the base of the cord has a little cut-out to hang it from somewhere so that's convenient if you want to do that (it's strong and hanging it by that spot on the cord will not damage it). The digital display -boh thank goodness we are in the Era of Technological Advancement. Back in the day it would been unheard of to suggest your hair tools actually display the temperature. This was a major selling point for me as I have to be super careful with my hair. The temp goes down to 170 and maxes out at 450. The really awesome part is after you set the temp you want, the numbers tell you what temp it is as it works its way up. So if you set it at 350, you'll watch it count up as it reaches that temp which is really nice. So if you are in a hurry you know when it's getting close and you can just get started. First time I plugged it in and set it at 310, it was like 30 seconds. Mine came with hand protection but I haven't found it necessary for me. I know some people brush with the heated portion facing their scalp but I use mine from the underneath of my hair, and even though it is certainly very warm, at 310 degrees my hand that holds the portions of hair being brushed has been touched by it and it didn't burn. So the anti-scortch part is for reals. Also, there is no yanking or pulling. I have not had any hair get caught or pulled on nor have I experienced any increased shedding, as I would with a curling iron or flat straightener. (I gave up on flat straighteners bc I couldn't find one that didn't didn't catch on any hair and pull it - very very painful). My scalp is so sensitive and this thing is the best dream I didn't even know about. I am so thankful.

The product came very nicely packaged. Every item that is presented in the picture is all included with purchase. Nothing came damaged. The initial scent of the product smelled like stale alcohol but did not last after taking it out of the packaging. The overall brush is easy to use. It turns on quickly. There are three buttons on the bottom (button to increase and decrease the temperature and the on/off button). The brush has a matte finish. The brush heats up VERY quickly (about 15-20 seconds). When turning off the brush, it does about 14-17 minutes to fully cooldown. The swivel cord is a neat addition to the brush but is definitely not necessary. The glove itself feels comfortable (the wrist part stretches which accommodates all hand sizes). In general, this product is very helpful and efficient. It left my hair feeling sleek and smooth. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. I do not know whether this product will work with curly hair as my hair is naturally straight. I use a straightener just to ensure that the straightness of my hair stays that way for the entire day.

I got this product seeing the features section that it would work between 110v to 220v. But when I saw the product manual this works only at 120v..now I need 2 invest in a good voltage converter or I could have just purchased something that would work in India.. Please do not mislead.

For girls on the go, this is a must have product. You can finish styling your hair within ten minutes. It imparts good volume and shine to your hair. Heat damage is less compared to flat iron. It should be used only on dry hair. If you are using it in India or European countries you will have to use a step down voltage converter 220 volts to 110 volts.

It's good to work

So I just received my hair brush straightner today. I love the look of it. They have all the approved stamps for electrical. Which was one of my main concerns since I took a electrical engineering technologist course. I was scared it may not be approved for use within Canada. I tried it out on my hair and it works amazing. As you can see from the photos. Took me like 10 minutes to do my hair. I just need to purchase some frizz spray for my hair. Since I didn't use any products it left my hair frizzy still but that isn't the products fault. That's my hair. I would recommend getting spray if you have frizzy hair. The brush went through my hair amazing. No pulling what so ever. I am completely happy with my purchase and recommend this product to everyone. As stated in lots of reviews it doesn't work great on short hair so I will need to use my straightner on my bangs but otherwise amazing overall.
