I struggled to find what is now called a “drip” coffee machine to replace my old one. All seemed horribly expensive. This one though seemed to do everything I needed without a 15 page instruction booklet and at a reasonable price. Lovely machine, simple to use, holds a lot of water to ultimately make plenty of coffee. Great keep warm feature and turns off all by itself in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend this product.

Extremely disappointing. Jug cracked and broke easily 2 x weeks after using. A replacement as appears to be available on UK store but it's impossible to ship to Ireland. Phillips have not been helpful. Avoid.

It took me a while to find this gem, I’m so pleased I did!. I love the colour, it goes really well with my kitchen.Pros:☕️ The water tank is at the back with a separate lid and is very easy to fill.☕️ The compartment for the coffee is easy to clean.☕️ The jug is easy to clean.☕️ Lovely colour.☕️ Excellent value for money.You’ll need #4 paper filters (very cheap to buy on Amazon).After use I leave the water tank open to air dry and I use a piece of kitchen towel to dry any coffee residue from the coffee container.

- It makes good coffee and quite fast.- Less noisy than others I had in the past- No weird smell (very important)- No evaporation of water

** 4.5 stars Edit: Despite my initial disappointment with the filter system we have now tried this fabulous machine and absolutely love it. Makes really smooth coffee. It is quick and quiet. Only thing that would make me love it more would be if the button stayed pressed so I could use my smart plugs and have it ready when I come downstairs 😉 **Have to say I find the description confusing. It says the ‘filter is reusable’ and as this is an eco friendly / recycled product I’m disappointed to read and see I also need to purchase single use filters. If someone can point me in the direction of something more sustainable I’d really appreciate it.Machine looks great and is light and easy to clean / set up. Haven’t been able to try the coffee yet due to difficulty finding what size filters are needed. We’ve had pod machines historically but was looking to switch to something that produced more coffee, eco consciously. My friend has the Russell Hobb and whilst they have a mesh filter that you can rinse, overall haven’t been overly happy with their machine hence my choice for the Phillips.
