I really like this ph meter is even better than the more expensive ones on measuring ph of water the only thing is not that 100% accurate is the temperature meter but I didn't buy this for the temperature. I recommend this for measuring ph of water

I use this to keep the ph levels in my nutrients where I need them for various household, and outside plants, and it's been consistently accurate for almost two months. I watched a YT video to help me understand the calibration process and has been smooth sailing since!

Does what it says, just make sure to calibrate before using.

So i bought this thinkn it would be pretty good to go I know my tap water is an avg 7.1-7.3 This pen was saying high 7 to 8 So i used buffing agents and went through the calibrating steps along with the previous one i was replacing to no avail so i goto the the hydro store an ask for help and i bought a new one from them which was calibrated in front of me with a 7.01 solution its dialed in perfect return home and test and this pen is clearly wrong my tap water is 7.3,,,this pen is saying 7.9 so its clearly not accurate....... waste of time and money

In the states. I received this item very quickly and it was Calibrated as soon as I took it out of the box. I use it very often. Daily for my hydroponics. It comes with everything you need to calibrate it for later down the line. It lights up it’s digital it’s amazing exactly what I needed thank you so much

Purchased the PH probe\meter back in Feb. I understand you should calibrate every time you use it. Now I go to read the PH of my RO/DI water. The probe is telling me the ph is over 8. Not likely..... Check the calibration again. Same thing so I had my water tested from a local business. The PH probe is not accurate or most importantly, Not reliably inconsistent. I also thought this was going to be good enough just to get me by. :(

I used this 3/4 of the way through a grow and was having a big issue with my plants. I checked the run-off pH and it showed 5.0 but my watering solution is always pH'd to 6.46-6.50. I got my old meter out to compare the two and this one was registering at least 1 full point higher than it should have been (i.e. distilled water was testing at 8.6 instead of 7.0). I got the calibration solutions out and when I put it in the first solution, which was 6.86, the meter showed around 8.65 and wouldn't move up or down even when swirling it in the solution which usually causes the numbers to jump around. I tried the 4.0 solution and again the meter read 8.65 and didn't move even 1/10 of a point! So this has almost ruin several plants! Unfortunately it's too late to return it but thankfully I realize the problem and it's not too late for a few plants but my biggest one will have a poor yield! My fault for not checking the calibration when I got it, but also it's the manufacturers fault for making junk.

I purchased this tester to replace my other pH meter which no longer lights up but otherwise works perfectly. Sometimes the Vivosun meter gives a somewhat accurate reading (albeit super slow), and other times it is off by up to 3 pH! Unreliable. The cheaper brandless model I have was more consistent in quality and measurement. It is unfortunate since I have used multiple other Vivosun products and they are usually a great value for the cost. You get what you pay for. This is my 3rd of various models of cheap testers, and I'll be spending the money to get a higher-end product (like a bluelab) going forward.

When I bought it there was no mention this item had to be calibrated. It took me 30 minutes to calibrated it, which was no easy. All I wanted was something to test the PH in my hot tub.
