Works well, looks great
Initially bought it for zoom meetings. Ended up using it to make a video giving the appearance of me attending a meeting. No one caught on so I'm happy.Requires minimal setup. Clear picture.

Amazing Camera - Mac Users Beware
Just received this camera and was able to just plug in and it worked, however the refresh needed adjusting to 50hz (I'm in the UK), this is where it got complicated as a Mac user.It seems the only version of Synspe (their camera software control app) is mainly built for windows and has the latest version 3, you can install version 2 for Mac BUT only if you have a very old OS installed. I ran this anyway which took far longer than it should, creating accounts and having to reboot my laptop (to first recognise the camera, secondly afeter installing the app). The app however did not see the camera even though I'd just used it fine on a Teams call. I tried putting a support ticket it but just got a network error at the end - very frustrating. In the end I found an app on the App Store called WEBCAM SETTINGS (that did cot's £6.99!) and it see's and controls the camera fine.Have to say the camera is amazing BUT for the price I would have expected a Mac app supporting it and it to be easier to contact the company to get help.

UNRELIABLE
Nice Camera, if only it worked!Temperamental from the outset, lots of fiddling and configuring to get it to work. Then a short honeymoon period but fir past 6 weeks, the camera stops being recognised [USB device not found] during Teams and Zoom calls; the camera fails almost invariably but as in Russian roulette, exactly at what point in the meeting it goes off is unpredictable.Very disappointedNHS doctor

Good cam, but connectivity problems
Excellent cam to look at and to being looked at. Microphone is not bad either. Got detected on windows 11 easily. Now stop there. Install synapse once, change the frequency to 50 hz so that there is no flickering of the lights (and disable hdr) and uninstall.Reset / Reinstall windows of uninstall synapse and forget synapse unless you use it for keyboard and mouse. Now, if you are using Asus or gigabyte motherboards, especially the latest ones, the webcam won't be connected on boot. When the computer boots, the Webcam may not appear in the device manager. Also the computer goes to sleep and comes back, webcam may not be detected and couple of yellow triangles appear in device manager. In such case unplug the cable from the back of the cam, with for 10 seconds and reconnect. It will be back online. That drove me mad and I initiated the return. But going through reviews and forums, it seems to be a common problem so cancelled the return and kept it

Works well with Mac but need initial setup from Windows.
I'm using Razer Kiyo Pro with Macbook and the picture quality was very bad when I directly connected it for the first time. Auto focus was messed up and the picture kept flickering as I have led lights in my room. The companion software Razer synapse does not work on Mac. So I downloaded a windows VM and installed Razer synapse and updated the camera firmware. Then, from the settings disabled HDR and increased the frequency. After this change the webcam started to work perfectly. The picture quality is great even in low light. Only problem I see now is sometimes my video freeze for few seconds in video calls if I suddenly move.If you are using Windows I highly recommended this webcam and if you are on Mac and you are read to go the extra step of setting up from Windows machine this is a great buy.

Pity this product only works 50% of the time.
When it works it's OK but most of the time it doesn't work and requires unplugging and reconnecting or a restart. There is no software but some of the features can only be accessed with Synapse which we consider to be bloatware. Very dissatisfied.A search reveals that this product is full of problems and their support is weak. It could be good but it's unreliability means it needs to be scapped.

Had to be immediately replaced by Razer as was unable to update firmware.
Straight out of the box, the unit firmware would not update on pc. Would just cycle through the update process then after restart still detect the orignal firmware and ask to update again. Razer customer service very helpful and immediately arranged replacement but clearly theres an issue here that Razer need to address. The camera did mostly work great on the original firmware. But auto focus a bit funny which is apperently fixed if you get the new firmware to stick. Also be warned there is no razer support for mac with this so a macs only sees it as a dumb webcam and you loose some features. You can gain access to some settings through an additional paid app called "Webcam Settings" from the app store. But HDR is not accessable on mac.Having said all that, using it as just dumb web cam on mac for zoom etc does work fine. Quality is great and is a big improvement over the macs cameras. Auto focus is a bit wonky so hopefully the replacement unit will fix that.

Do not buy this webcam...
Do not buy this camera. This camera became the bane of my existence the instant it entered my life. I originally bought this camera because it was marketed to be easy to use, plug and play. IT IS NOT.Here is the sequence of events:Recive the camera in the mail, the box itself had good weight to it, turns out 90% of the weight of the camera is from the mount. The camera itself weighs no more than an empty soda can.Plug in camera and open Razer Synapse. Camera is not being detected. Great. (I then try every single one of my other usb slots, 2.0, 3.0, 3.2). Nothing. OK. Restart computer? It's now being detected in the devices menu, but when I turn on the preiveiw for the camera nothing comes up but a grey screen. So I close synapse and go to google for trouble-shooting.Initiate trouble-shooting rabbit hole.I found out I might have the wrong version of synapse, so I uninstall it and reinstall Synapse 3. Restart computer for good luck. Open Synapse. Camera is popping up in devices *yay!*. Camera preview is working and I can see my beautiful face finally. I'm able to refine the settings and get the image to look pretty good, and enter a discord call to show my tech buddies my new toy.The webcam works for 3 seconds and then freezes indefinetly.More trouble-shooting ensues.I find out the webcam might need a firmware update. No problem. I do that, all is well. Restart computer for some more good luck. Camera preview in Synapse looks great. Enter Discord call, camera cannot be detected. Fine. You guessed it, more trouble-shooting.I find out that the discord application has webcam issues itself, so maybe I shouldn't be so hard on the camera and try to fix discord problems that are affecting the webcam. Touble-shoot that stuff and it doesn't fix anything. From there I test the camera in OBS studio, and Twitch. Same problems of either being hard to detect or freezing indefinetly. And now, I am here.Reading into other reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one experiencing these issues/similar ones. I really wanted to like this camera. It has a sleek design and was marketed to be convinient and easy to use. I also really liked that it connected directly to Razer Synapse. The camera also looks great for the couple seconds it works, giving me a taste of whats its capable of but not letting me have it. I don't personally believe I can do anything more on my end that I haven't tried multiple times over already to fix this. I hope my review can help you decide if you're willing to take on this headache of a webcam, or choose another brand like I will be.

Excelente webcam!

It's A Quality Webcam
In short, it's a good webcam. I'm very happy with it -- no regrets. If you can get it at a reasonable price within your budget, do it. It's better than the Logitech Streamcam. In a little more detail, watch the reviews on YouTube. They will give you a side-by-side comparison of how the Kiyo Pro looks out of the box against its competitors (like the Logitech Streamcam [which is USB-C which may present compatibility issues]).I'm very satisfied with the purchase and the use of the camera. The original price on Amazon.ca (in Canada) was $230CAD. I would not pay $230CAD. I got it for $150CAD during the Black Friday sale. $150CAD is reasonable given the quality of the Kiyo Pro, especially since the Logitech Streamcam was the same price at the time (also $150CAD).I rated it four stars for "Camera quality" because it has great video quality right out of the box, the HDR mode enhances the picture, and there's the option of different fields of view (FOV). I didn't give it five stars because that would be a DSLR or mirrorless camera that deserves five stars.I rated it four stars for "Value for money" because, for the Black Friday sale price of $150CAD, it's a fair deal. For the original price of $230CAD, I suggest that the Kiyo Pro is overpriced because there are many other things we can do with $230CAD.I rated it three stars for "Auto focus" because I don't think the autofocus is that good compared to the Logitech Streamcam. The autofocus is by far the Kiyo Pro's greatest criticism. It's important to note that I have barely used the autofocus because most YouTube reviews have shown that the autofocus is horrible. There are many other reviews that say that they couldn't download the update from Razer that helps with the autofocus issues. I believe those reviews are outdated. I had no problem downloading and updating the firmware from Razer. I tested the authofocus with the updated firmware and will leave the autofocus on for my next livestream because I'm confident in its ability.Overall, I think you'll be pleased with the picture quality and ease of use. It was truly plug-and-play. The price seems to be the dealbreaker for most people. Watch the YouTube videos and you'll be able to see how good of a choice the Kiyo Pro is compared to other webcams.
