F864L-HBZ Barn 65 Ceiling Fan with LED Light and DC Motor in Heirloom Bronze Finish…

The fan is an eye-catcher, it really draws your eye upward. If you have the height and the space, it is definitely worth purchasing. Ours is on a 24" downrod, an additional purchase. It comes standard with a 10" rod which we felt would be too short for our situation. On a 24" rod, the fan is very stable at all 6 speeds. Barely any wiggle with 10 blades (or is it 5 dual blades?). Not the cheapest fan on the market, but if you are considering a 65" fan, you have a good sized room for the install.

The price I paid for this fan was below what was quoted to me from another supplier. During the pandemic, it took forever for me to get it installed, which was unfortunately was past the 30 day return date. Not sure why it makes the noise it does, which is quite loud at night while sleeping. The fan does produce good air flow & looks great! I would like to order a couple more because it is efficient, just hope any replacements would be less noisy than the one I have.

We redid a family room in our very old house. I’m in the middle of adding smart lighting and some other smart devices. We wanted a nice big fan and the big box stores just didn’t have what we wanted so we went to a lighting store. This exact fan was selling for $800+ so I took a flyer on buying it from Amazon.Got the package very quickly even ahead of the initial scheduled delivery date which was awesome. Box and fan were in excellent shape so thank you Amazon!When I went to install the fan the directions were lacking a lot of information. I’m an experienced DIYer and this was probably my 20th ceiling fan so it wasn’t a problem but it might have been if I were inexperienced. If you are buying and are inexperienced just have some help with you and you can handle it.But the fan is beautiful and works super well. Mine needed no adjusting at all with absolutely no wobble on high. Light is nice. Dimming and fan speeds are all responsive. And the use of the Alexa integration is pretty fun.One side note the 10” down rod was too long for me so I used a 4” which was perfect and allowed me to still use all the decorative covers with the fan. The down rod I purchased was $3 so not a huge expense either.I would recommend and I will buy another Minka Aire fan especially a smart one again!

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised with this Minka 65” Barn fan. I’ve installed around 30 or so ceiling fans in my life but this one is by far the best of them. This fan really moves the air, I’ve never had a fan that I could literally feel the air being sucked up off the floor….and this was in a room with a 20 foot ceiling. The LED complements our lighting well and fills in that area in the center of the room perfectly. The smart app feature with Alexa works great. And man does this fan move some air, this thing is going to save us on some cooling and heating bills for sure. It’s quiet, fast, balanced, well lit and beautiful!

Overall install was fairly seamless. What a huge difference once the fan is up and running. This fan actually puts out some great air movement you can feel. Not like other "great room" fans.Two items to note.1. There is a fan hanging safety wire cable to attach to the fan, which then attaches to the structure above the ceiling. Attaching the cable to the structure was a little challenging, due to attic space /moving insulation, etc., to attach to the joist above the ceiling, but is a safety feature I'm glad is there.2. For initial start up, the wireless remote is a bit of a pain to sync up with the fan. Pay very close attention to the instructions and then re-read and try again. Eventually the wireless remote will connect.
