Amnesty I

The album is good, and I fell in love with the song kept when I first heard it on a users bio on discord and was disheartened to not be able to find it anywhere besides from people literally stealing it and claiming it was there's on YouTube, yes stealing not just uploading Crystal Castles ve.r so people can listen to it.

I bought this album mainly for the song Kept. Gorgeous song. However, I'm not sure I'm a fan of the lyrics. I know a place where no one can find you. Is a little creepy.

This is loaded with cool electronic music. Every track is enjoyable. I have another album by Crystal Castles and there are at least 2 very annoying (hard to enjoy) tunes on it. But this album is not difficult at all at any time. Thumbs up to this album.

Despite Amazon's poor packaging decisions, it came in great. The record is made by someone who actually cares(not your average cheap flimsy record by bands looking to make a quick buck, it's pretty thick), and that I love about it. Sounds great, comes with a little prism thing(It's a hexagon, or w/e clear plastic thing meant for doing hologram things with your phone, assuming Crystal Castles meant to do a video with it, but I have yet to see anything about it).

Clearly not Ethan's greatest achievement. Some really good sound design and catchy tracks for sure. Edith's vocals are much more clear and pronounced than Alice was but lacks a certain character and production that was prevelent on their previous records for sure. People give this record more hate than it deserves imo.

Great album. I hadn't heard them in a while then I put this on repeat in my car for days. Electronic based music that ranges from darkwVe electro punk to more mellow and entrancing songs. Glad I rediscovered crystal castles!

I believe this may be Crystal Castles' darkest sounding album. The vocals are haunting and the music will stick in your brain long after listening.

crystal castlesの個人的な印象は、なんとなく、くすんだ水晶をイメージさせるような独特のシンセサウンドとアク強い女性Voなのだが、 新Voとなってもその部分は変わっていないと感じた。 Voは変わったという情報がなければ気付かなかったかもしれないくらいソックリ。 CDで聞くと、前Voに比べアクが若干弱いが、良い意味で聞きやすく、表現方法も多彩な印象を受けた。 オケのシンセは従来のイメージを保ちつつも、過激で狂気染みた方向に進んでおり、Voのアクが弱まった部分を上手く補完している。 確実にcrystal castlesでありながらも、なんとなく別次元。 うまく表現できないのが悔しいが、ソフトシンセ全盛でどれも同じようなサウンドが目立つ中、圧倒的な個性を保っていると思う。 ジャンルは違うが、nine inch nailsやburial等、聞いただけで彼らと分かるような独自なサウンドが好きな方や、 従来からのファンの方には確実にオススメ出来る作品。
