Q: Since it's black colored, can this become too hot to sit on on a really hot day with the sun shining down?

Hi there, Our team hasn't experienced any issues with the blanket over-heating in the sun. Though, like any product left in direct sunlight for extended periods of time, this will of course heat up to an extent. If you would like to explore a Pocket Blanket with a non-black base, you can check your local REI for an exclusive "Splash" blue colorway!

Q: Is the stitching uncomfortable to sit on with bare skin? Like if in a swim suit or kneeling on it would it be uncomfortable or is it soft?

Q: What is the difference between v4 and 2.0 (i've had 2.0 and lost it somewhere and just curious about updates before buying)?

Upgraded materials: V4 is more waterproof and has a nicer outer pouch material. Other than that, they're quite similar. Size is the same, both contain corner stakes and sand pockets, plus the fold guide.
