Snap connectors for Phillips hue
Received item next day through prime , followed the instructions in the package and within 5 minutes had connected 2 strips together and working , This item is a must for people with the hue light strips , and who are not able to solder .The hardest part of fitting was clamping the connector shut , use a pair of pliers for this and it’s easy. It’s a great product and the only down side is they are expensive at the price , I think £10.00 would be more reasonable.

Needs some fiddling to work, but they do work perfectly
Reading the amount of negative views of this product I was very sceptical about the chances of it working but I already had a lot of Philips Hue lightstrip cut ends left over from other projects so I figured I might as well give it a go.I've also been using several other of the litcessory accessories to create different hue systems (like forked connections etc) recently so I feel like I'm reasonably familiar with how these products work and have some tips to make your installation (hopefully) easier.1) Cutting the strips: This is best done with a set of scissors with a longer blade to get a nice clean cut. When I've done the cut with smaller, school style scissors the cut wasn't nearly as clean as with a bigger pair.2) Removing the rubber: I found that removing the rubber jacket from the LED strip about an inch before the cut end helps the end to slide into the correct place in the connector.3) The LED strips only work in one order: This is a biggie that took me ages to realise. I'm sure some of you will be laughing at me reading this but also there will be others that didn't think of it. All of the "PHILIPS" writing on the strips needs to be pointing in the same direction otherwise they won't work.4) The connectors need to be put under pressure to make the connection: I feel like a lot of the people leaving bad reviews might have missed this step because I almost forgot about it and my connection didn't work before I compressed the connector. I found that pinching the connector hard between my finger and thumb made the connection work temporarily so I compressed them with a plumbers wrench and the non-working connections started working perfectly.By using these connectors I managed to create a 3.3m long strip from some spare extensions and a whole bunch of cut ends. At first it didn't work at all, but by experimenting and figuring out the correct technique I was able to join all of the strips with a perfect connection. Also, if you do need any extra help, I found that Litcessory promptly respond to queries sent by email, so it might be worth asking them for support.

Fixed my broken Hue Lightstrip
I had a break in a Hue Lightstrip. I cut the broken part out and crimped the cable back together with these clips. The instructions were a bit confusing though. I think there needs to be a bit more clarity for the docs on their website as I wasn't sure which instructions to follow exactly.

an expensive one time use connector
Do these connectors allowed you to connect hue light strips? yes! Are they a reliable or economical solution? Most certainly not.once they have been clipped down once don’t try and get them off again due to unreliability. In the very nature of the fact that you are cutting light strips up and altering and changing things you are going to be keeping keeping these connectors to choose the result you want. They are extremely expensive for what they are and not particularly reliable. If you can get a cheaper alternative, as it might be as unreliable not as costly.

if you read the instructions and follow them, this item works really well

Incorrect pack size
Advertised as a pack of 10, but arrived as pack of 4. Which makes them stupidly expensive

Too Expensive but do the job
These are way over priced for what they are. They do the job but you need to lift the connectors with a screw driver in order to get the cut solder joints under the connectors. Suggest using insulation tape once you're done around the whole connector block and slightly round the cables. You will probably have to get the male to male connectors too if you plan on using the extension cables for a longer run. These should really be priced at £6 and be available in smaller quantities. These probably cost less than a pound to make. Still better than wasting loads of led strips and cheaper than buying more phillips who light strips!

Another Win from Litcessory
These work just like the cut end to pin product. I had not dabbled with Hue strip lights in 6 years. The Litcessory line of products fill a avoid for tricky light configurations. Someone said they don't fit tight. You have to carefully trim the exterior plastic and slide/push tight the tape into the fitting under the contacts. Then snap it closed and it is not coming out.

Didn't work for me
This was a total waste of time, money and nerves. I have V3 base kit 2M and wanted to extend it with 2 more of the same. For the purpose I got these cut end to cut end connectors after contacting the Litcessory support.Unfortunately, when I cut and connected the strips I didn't get all the colours. Sometimes I didn't got the 2nd and 3rd part to light up at all. I had to press at specific points in the cut connectors and in a specific way (bend the strip slightly) in order to get all the colours. I've wasted many hours trying to figure out how to fix this.I contacted Litcessory, who after many emails exchanged sent me a replacement batch of connectors.Same story with the new batch.I'm so sorry I've wasted my perfectly fine 2M strips and now just bought new ones from Amazon (v4). Expensive project, but the point is that this product worked very poorly in my case. Maybe someone else will have more luck with it. Just be prepared to waste some money...

Hält absolut, was es verspricht
