P21S10001G Gel Refill, 1000 ml

This is as close to spray-on and rinse-off as I have ever used. P21S wheel cleaner easily removed some heavy brake dust stains on my Brembo calipers that have been filthy for years and would not clean up with several other cleaners I have tried over the years.I use a handheld spray bottle to apply this to wheels. Since this is a thicker gel, the sprayer works great for "streaming" product onto the wheel but it's too thick to be atomized very well by the sprayer. I use a soft nylon brush to distribute P21S on the wheel... but in now way should this be construed as scrubbing.If you could find a sprayer that can atomize P21S, and therefore distribute it onto the wheel better, then a brush would not be needed at all!

I've been buying P21S wheel cleaner for a number of years for use on painted aluminum wheels on Porsches I have owned. It is definitely safer on the finish than most other wheel cleaners I have used. That said, it may require some scrubbing on heavy break dust, but at least it won't be causing any harm to your finish.Definitely worth the money for the do-it-yourself detailer and perfectionist.

If you wearing expensive wheels like I do, you don't want to mass around with any cheap cleaner on them!I use this wheel cleaner for over 13 years! Is expensive but is the best! I have use on my HRE, Hamann, BBS as well as OEM wheels. when I spray something on these $$$$ rims, I needs to be sure they are safe on the rims. P21S products is the one I trust!Some people may say, a $8 cleaner will do the same job, Yes they do! but they may damage the coating on the wheels. Easyoff is cheap and sure will get things off your wheels! will you use it?

The P21S wheel cleaner is quite expensive but it is the best wheel cleaner that I have found to date. I have only ever used the regular cleaner but I have been tol\d that the thicker formulation works well on really dirty wheels.

First, the reviews on the product and the demonstrations you see aren't as easy as it's made out to be. The chemical gel doesn't do what you think it'll do unless you have a waxed rim to start with. If your rims haven't been waxed recently, then the buildup of brake dust isn't that easy to take off. So if that's what you're expecting, then you shouldn't be surprised when it doesn't happen. I was fortunate to have had one rim that I swapped out with my full spare. So that spare was waxed and clean before the brake dust was allowed to settle on it. That particular rim was easy to clean, the other three took some elbow grease and they still didn't come out as clean. You'll need your usual arsenal of wheel cleaning tools to do the job right, but BE careful if your waxed surface has lost it's protective coating, you'll get STAINS if you leave the cleaner on too long. I worked on it first thing in the morning on a day with lots of moisture in the air and no direct sunlight, shaded the entire time.

I had heavy brake dust dirt on my front rims of my Mercedes GL. The P21 worked great. Sprayed it on, left it on for 2 hours. Then, sprayed the rims with water, and then took a sponge and wiped the wheels down, then sprayed again. The stuff just comes off. (I would wear dish washing gloves or some type of plastic gloves, because this brake gunk takes forever to wash off your hands.)Granted, it's a newer car, I don't know about cars that have had this stuff caked in for years. But P21 makes awesome products, just remember that nothing comes for free. You sometimes have to put a bit of elbow grease into anything to clean it right. The P21 just requires very minimal elbow grease in my opinion.

I use this regularly on my Porsche 911 and it works so well that I usually do not have to use a brush - just water pressure. I'd give it 5stars but I have not tried other products to compare with. It has saved me a huge amount of work. I'm very happy with it!

Best wheel cleaner I have found over the past 20 years. But note that this is the GEL version. The regular version is just ok. You're probably better off getting the Griot's version vs. the regular P21S. The GEL is more money, but oh so worth it. I've done a test where I'll spray one half of the wheel with this and the other half with Griot's (or the non GEL P21S). Without scrubbing, the GEL side cleans better after hosing the wheels off. If you clean your wheels often enough, you will need to scrub significantly less with the GEL cleaner. Scrubbing is a must with the Griot and non GEL P21S.
