Slightly underwhelming but gets the job done
Slightly underwhelming but gets the job doneI am a happy buyer of several "Storite" branded products. But underwhelmed this time.A power cable is not just a means to carry electricity from point A to point B. A good power cable must have "good conductors", "good insulation" and "good contacts"."Contacts" on these cables is just decent enough to get the job done. They just slide in and out of sockets fairly easily. Which means not a very secure contact. In a good cable there should be a bit of grip when you slide in and out. Loose contacts increase the "microsparks" and decrease the life of connected equipments. This cable is basically meant for easy loads (computers, printers etc). If you need something for heavy loads look else where.Pros: Decent cables at not too steep a priceCons: Not very sturdy or well built
