I bought this to adhere to my iPad Pro Magic Keyboard. It sticks fine at first, but if you put the pencil in the slot, the force of the pencil pulling on the neoprene sleeve unsticks the edges of the holder and eventually it just falls off. You might lose your pencil if you aren’t paying attention. Also even if you leave the holder on overnight to fully “cure” it still just comes off as soon as the pencil is inserted into the slot.

Edit: update included at the end of the original posting below. I was excited to find this product because I was tired of being paranoid about losing a $130 component. The construction is a spandex-like stretchy material mated to a pleather backing, on which the adhesive sits, covered with a peel-off backing. Getting the pencil inserted the first time was a chore because the stretchy material was VERY tight. Over a few weeks of use, however, it loosens up somewhat without becoming so loose that the pencil falls out. But here is where a problem surfaces. When a pencil or stylus is inserted, there is a natural pull against the pleather piece where the two materials are mated. The adhesive is strong, but it is not quite strong enough to hold the edge of the pleather backing to the iPad, or in my case, the iPad cover. The result is that the edge of this holder curls up, and it becomes a snag point for papers or other things, not only because it's natural for paper to snag on the holder, but also because some of the adhesive is exposed as the pleather curls. I added two photos to show the holder with the pencil in and pencil out. Tune curl is present in both, but is much more pronounced with the pencil in. I think the only fix for this problem is for the pleather to be thicker so that it resists curling better. Otherwise, this holder does a good job at holding the pencil. Update 1: the company read my review and they offered to send me a replacement holder. I removed the first one and instead of installing and rushing to put the Apple Pencil in the replacement right away, I installed the new holder and waited 24 hours for the glue to set. After waiting, I worked the pencil into the new holder carefully. It's been several days, and I am not seeing the same problem with the replacement. I'll update in a week... So far, so good.

I like the snug feel of the pencil - it doesn’t fall out. However, it does not want to stick to my iPad case, which has a “soft” texture (Made by Apple).

This is the perfect item for your Apple Pencil. I got it for when I put my iPad in my back pack to travel with it and it’s snug and secure. Highly recommend it.

Die Farbe ist schön, passt genau zur meiner grüner Hülle. Aber leider dir Rände kläben sich nicht so gut und ich habe Angst, dass es mit der Zeit losgehen wird

Un supporto molto carino per le apple pencil o altri tipi di penne (anche a inchiostro). Si addice sicuramente molto di più alle apple pencil di prima generazione, in quanto quelle seguenti hanno il supporto magnetico per la carica e vanno quindi collocate diversamente. Se però la custodia del tablet non ha un inserto per la Pencil, può essere un’ottima soluzione per tenere la penna insieme al tablet senza rischiare di levarla inavvertitamente dal lato magnetico.
