Dimensions 73-91526 Seashells on The Beach Paint by Numbers for Adults, 14'' W x 11'' L

I really liked the shell pattern and the smaller size. Some of the colors had to be mixed by me, which I didn't mind and there was plenty of paint. Looks great in my bathroom! Plus being on board, a frame was easy to find too.

There is a reason, I think, they dont show a picture of the painting before it is painted.... it has a ton of small detail. Most of the painting was small detail... However... once I started painting it, I became addicted to it! Had a feeling the end result would be something I like. And I have to say I LOVE this picture and how it turned out. I purchased a few more small brushes, and the one that comes with it also works well. Yes, you have to mix some paints but I dont mind that. You can adjust the colors a bit when you do have to mix. It is true a few colors are light and dont cover the numbers, but all you have to do is run a small second coat over them while you paint. I like the dimensions product because they are on a canvas board and it is sturdy and easy to work with. This was my second one, and I will be buying more. Try this one, I think you will truly enjoy it!

I enjoyed painting it very much! The only thing I will say is that if you don’t like color mixing, this isn’t the one for you. 16 colors must be mixed from the 12 colors you’re provided, so there’s a LOT of color mixing.

The color is very vibrant, though I would love that it will have space with white color, which makes me feel like I forgot to paint the spot. It took me almost 2 weeks to finish and the painting turned out great. Looking forward to frame and hang it in my new place. This is my first Dimension paint-by-number product (I have used other brand before) and this is the best. Will def buy another project very soon.

This is probably my fifth Dimensions painting I’ve done and this is probably my favorite. The only complaint is that most of the blank sections mean that it’s white. However, it can be annoying because some of them just aren’t labeled with numbers and you have to search for that exact thing on the paper

Colors seemed to not go together very well on the sand portions of the painting that you must mix. I think the black paint is too severe of a contrast for the dark portions as well. It looks okay when finished but it's not one of their better pictures. I hate mixing the colors.

I like to cover the cardboard canvas with sketching/tracing paper. It is very thin and you can see thru the paper. Then I use colored pencils to color. When I am done, I remove the paper from the canvas. Pros - pencils are not as messy as paint, don't have to wait for paint to dry, blending is easy-peasy, can resuse canvas.

Very excited to paint this! Dimensions has the best paint by number kits!
