Just as good as shimano ones, but cheaper

Got through a few sets of these during pandemic times when parts availability was a nightmare and I couldn't buy geniune Shimano L03A-L05A. Found they had very poor longevity especially when used hard on steep descents - squealing like a pig in short order and wearing completely out. Had one ride cut short by a set of these failing mid ride. Glad Shimano is back in stock and I will not miss having to get by on these inferior quality products.

Used as a replacement for Shimano pads that got contaminated and lost braking efficiency. No squealing, bedded in quickly and great performance. Also seem to be more resistant to contamination.

Calipers and pads take a beating through the winter so, when looking for new pads recently I decided to try an alternative to the expensive Shimano pads I've used in the past. I'm not racing down Alpine passes so having radiator fins to cool the pads isn't really necessary and, once bedded-in using the helpful guide included, these Noah & Theo pads seem to be fine. I'm not feeling there's any problem in the way they perform. It's early days, so can't say how they compare for longevity, but very happy with them so far.

Very pleased with these pads. Worked very well from the off. No brake noise and good stopping power. The price, although not cheap, is much less than the Shimano equivalents.
