I was looking for just an every day shoe that matched a lot of casual outfits, jeans, shorts, etc. I've never owned a pair of Vans before and when I wore them the first day my feet were in heaven! I have an old foot injury so I usually end up with expensive running shoes--but these are amazing!!! Cushioned soles, flexible fabric outer body and very true to fit!! In ASICS running shoes, I go up half a size (7.5) to help give my injured foot room to swell and move. These are very true to size with room in the toe and width; I ordered a 7 and it fits so perfectly! I LOVE THEM! Plus, I'm 50 years old and they're stylish without looking like a 50 year old trying to be hip! :-)
