These are great for anything
The media could not be loaded. These wooden semi-spheres are very Montessorian, very versatile, completely open-ended and of good quality. The wood is hard and smooth enough and the paints I used did not get smudged. We have tried colouring them (the whole family got involved) and all the types of paints we applied to these (including the watercolour pencil) worked wonderfully on these semi-spheres. They arrived in a plastic bag that was not much of a gift bag material, but these are wonderful as a gift and stacking them into a stocking or a box or a bag will do just fine. They do not have splinters ir broken bits and won't catch on gentle skin or fabric. A complete success here.

Good quality wooden sphere halves, ideal for crafting.
This pack of 20 piece half spheres is perfect for crafting and projects. Made from unfinished wood, these are perfect for painting and decoupage, or can be left natural. The sphere halves are smooth and safe to handle with a flat edge, measuring 5cm in diameter with a height of 2.5 cm. I plan to use these in my Nursery Classroom - I will leave some natural for enhancements with our block play, and plan to stick velcro to others so that the children can explore whole and half with these spheres. I may also paint some as toadstool heads for our Wonder play tray. It is lovely to offer natural wooden enhancements for the children to play with, and I am curious to see how they use these without direction - Children often see far more potential in objects than adults do! Perfect for crafters and creative spirits, these spheres are priced at £13.98 for the pack of 20 half spheres.

Just what I was after.
Many years ago, in a box of home fragrance bits with pot pourri and a smelly oil, there was also a small pine ball with a dimple in. The purpose was to fill the dimple with the oil, place on a radiator & when the heating came on, the smell would waft. I lost the ball years ago, but have never forgotten about it.When I saw these, it was ideal as they were larger & would sit nicely on our radiators.I had my 1st attempt today, but my countersink bit was too small really. I did attempt 2, but then I thought I will try again tomorrow & find the right drill bit, but in the meantime, these sit on the radiator in the hall way, filled with peppermint essential oil & now when you open the front door, you smell peppermint & not wet dogs.Well pleased. Oh & all were clean, plenty of silica bags inside, dry & just smelt of wood.

Good quality pieces
This set of 20 half spheres will make a great blank slate for your art projects. They are made from solid wood so you can decorate them however you want.Use sandpaper and other tools to get them into the shape you need or just use them as they are.You can make them into personalized ornaments, charming home and kitchen decorations, store displays, or simply paint them with various colors to make eye-catching embellishments.Personally, I am using them for reindeer noses. My brother has been making reindeer from fallen tree logs and branches during the pandemic when his day-centre was closed. This is a good activity for him as it keeps him occupied and he is so pleased with finished pieces.Up until to now he has used Christmas baubles for the noses, which look cute but are very fragile. These are much stronger and the perfect shape for Rudolph’s nose, easily painted red and attached with a glue gun. These are good value for the set at £13.98, around 69p a piece and they appear to be of good quality.

Loose parts play
These are fab for using with young kids for loose parts play. They are a good size and are light weight enough not to be too much of an issue when toppling from towers or being launched. They're a good quality wood, have a lovely smooth finish and are great for using when building in a way that sphere's obviously aren't. They've been a fab addition to our loose parts area in Reception class. I'd recommend them.

Multipurpose half circle wooden blocks
I'm quite impressed with the quality of these. They're made of wood, solid, not very heavy & smooth. They have a variety of uses, in crafts, around the house etc.I'm using them as moth balls & place essential oils on them which I place inside the wardrobes. They can also be placed on the radiator to emit the lovely scent of essential oils or any other liquid on them (although the heat might destroy the therapeutic qualities of the essential oils). They do a good job for this purpose.Set of 20 wooden semi-circle blocks5cm.diameter

Smother in essential oil = natural moth deterrent
These are great, bigger than I thought they were. I got them primarily to douse them in essential oil and leave in the cupboards to ward off moths. But as there are so many in the pack, I douse some of them in lavender, peppermint or citronella, sat them on the windowsills and watched as flys, moths and wasps, did handbrake turns and flew away rather than come in the windows!Because they absorb essential oils so well they can also be used just left around your house/on radiators and they will make the rooms smell lovely.A great buy and so versatile.
