Jury’s still out
Not sure if this is any better than some of the other supplements out there touting “blue light protection”. Compared to others, the ingredients are close or identical in amounts, yet the price on this is substantially higher. I use other DFH supplements… all very pricey. Unfortunately without noticing huge benefits - it’s hard to justify the expense these days. My biggest issue with taking this one is the pungent smell. Kinda like fish/pond water 🤢… I guess it’s the “algae” ingredient - perhaps that’s why comparable supplements have a harder casing.

Can provide most of the supplementation recommends for macular support
I spend a lot of time at the computer screen and also need macular support, given my vision problems. I am mainly evaluating OcuForce Blue for the latter supplementation, to see how much it complements the AREDS2 formulation for macular degeneration. This supplement contains AREDS (Age-Related Disease Study) components to include vitamin E, lutein, a fat-soluble pigment found in plants, and zeaxanthin, a similar carotenoids or pigment, in what seems to be double the recommended daily amounts. Reading more closely, this bottle contains 60 capsules, with a recommended serving of two per day, so my inclination is take one supplement per day and have it cover the recommended amount and last for two months instead of one. While Ocuforce does not contain the zinc stipulated in AREDS2, I myself am taking a zinc supplement separately for immune support.Extracts of maqui berry, bilberry and ginkgo are also designed to support and protect vision.Review of Designs for Health OcuForce Blue - 'Blue Light' Focused Eye Support Supplement with Lutein, Zeaxanthin & More - for Teens and Adults (60 Capsules)

What’s Lutein, anyway?
You’ve probably seen Lutein advertised for being included in vitamins such as Centrum. This vision supplement from Designs for Health includes a lower than most 20mg amount derived from the marigold flower. Lutein protect the eyes from with its anti-inflammatory properties and actually absorbs best with high fat meals. These cost $2.24 per daily does of two capsules, more expensive for vision health if Lutein is the biggest priority rather than other extracts. As with any supplementation it’s always wise to check in with your physician first.

Macular health
The supplement contains a lot of the components that have been recommended by my ophthalmologist. I'm in the early stages of having macular degeneration, and I'm also staring at a screen for much of the day. Both of those issues put your eyes and vision at risk.In addition to wearing blue light blocking glasses, these supplements give me a little added security, and hopefully will help to keep my vision a little longer.

Not at this price
I got this "Designs for Health OcuForce Blue - 'Blue Light' Focused Eye Support Supplement with Lutein, Zeaxanthin & More" for my parents. I also got similar products from Amazon for him. This "Designs for Health" brand is little known to us, but it is one of the most expensive eye supplements compared to similar products that provide zeaxanthin and lutein. In fact, some of the better-known brands with a similar level of nutrition facts come with a much cheaper price tag (1/5). I really do not see the justification for this price tag.No I do not recommend this product.
