Using this in a safe and it works great to light up the whole thing. It was easy to set up and love the motion so it comes on as soon as I open the door.

Nothing to it to "install". It's just peel and stick and then put in batteries and you're off to the races. Things to note: a) the lights are bright enough for a small space, but not very bright. And 2) the adhesive isn't very strong so it definitely won't ruin surfaces, and could be repositioned if necessary. The LED strip can be cut to length. I assumed this, but just to clarify. All in all, a great low-cost solution for a motion sensor light for safes.

I used this light in my closet. The LED strip was very sticky and easily applied to the walls. It’s not as bright as I hoped it would be but it’s much better than nothing. It was easy to cut the strip to size. Very easy installation. Unlike my previous LED light strip, the motion detection range is good enough that it triggers when I open my closet. I no longer have to wave my hand at it. The one thing I don’t understand is the magnetic stickers it came with. If you’re supposed to be able to take the battery compartment on and off, why is it hardwired to the strip? It makes it impossible to remove in this configuration.

Mine has a little glitch, that it sometimes doesn't go off after the 60 seconds that I have it set for. It's no big deal (for me) since I can manually turn it off. Even with the little glitch, I still give it a 5 star rating because the sensor is amazing AND it gives off a LOT of light. I love it! And, I'm going to buy another, because the pricing is affordable for a motion sensor strip light.

These lights are great for a pantry or closet. I love that they're motion activated and run off battery, nothing to turn on, plug in or recharge!! So far they works great! Remember to position the light strip so you can place the sensor near the door, so when you open it, it triggers the lights to go on. 😉

Amazing lights! I bought 2 previously for closets and just purchased 3 more for a closet space that wraps around under the stairs in my basement. Super bright and definitely worth it. Great adhesive on the strip light too! I couldn't recommend this product enough to everyone i know.

I received these to light up a two metal cabinet. I followed the instructions and cleaned all the surfaces with isopropyl alcohol, then mounted the strip lights to the interior of the cabinets. The results exceed my expectation and looked great. The next day, both steps had all fallen down. I don't plan on going through the hassle of returning these and I'm going to use some double stick tape to fix this issue. Update: a couple of days after I "fixed" the adhesive issue part of the one of the light strips stopped working. Now I have a dark area at the born let of my cabinet. I would not recommend these lights.

Seems to stick well to metal painted surfaces and motion detection works. Light is very dim though. Anything other than accent lighting for looks is useless.

Easy to install and setup. Worked well for a little while. The batteries ended up corroding and device stopped working. Replaced batteries and works like new again. Wish there was a light sensitivity adjustment

Exactly what I needed for under my cabinets! These lights are bright, responsive, and super easy to install. The motion sensor works flawlessly, and the batteries last a long time. Adds a perfect glow to dark corners.

I put this strip up around the inside of a sliding closet door. Now whenever I slide open the door, the closet contents are illuminated. So much more convenient and comfortable! The instruction booklet is tiny and has microscopic text, AND the printing is poor. Good luck reading it. One star deduction from the rating for that. If you're not trimming the light strip to a shorter size, the rest of the setup is pretty intuitive. The main thing is you have to be very careful when exposing the adhesive tape that's already applied to the strip: peel off only the outer layer. If you just pull the whole thing, the adhesive will come off as well. A couple of 3M adhesive squares are included, either of which you can use for the control box. One of the squares is magnetic, although both sides of it are still adhesive ...so, I don't know what's up with that. Turning a corner with the lighting strip will require either one or two big folds (where the strip and adhesive don't even touch the surface you're attaching to) or several smaller ones. It's not a big deal since the tape is still pretty secure; though you could use the adhesive of your choice (like silicone sealant) on those areas if you think you need permanent reinforcement.
