So I busted the screen on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra a few months back, and repairing it is not currently in the budget. I had to get a bit creative, but I figured if this could at least let me check for texts, voicemails, etc. even if only while I'm at the house, then that would be something. At first I thought about just getting a USB C to HDMI cable, but once I saw the prices I thought why not do better? That's when I really fell down the rabbit hole; there are sooo many different USB C hubs out there it's insane. After a couple of days of filtering through a thousand or so different models I came upon this one, and it seems to me to be the best bang for the buck. I've been using it for about a month now and it works great for my needs. With a bluetooth keyboard and a wireless mouse, I can really get the most from the Dex mode, which basically turns my phone into a Chromebook. It makes doing certain tasks far easier. If you're in a jam like me and have a busted smartphone, or you love technology and pushing the limits of what your gear can do, then this is an awesome product at a great price!

Except for the headphone jack issue, I'd give it a five star.I had another type that had bad connectors, so it barely worked at all. The connectors on this are solid and I've used it for both my Mac M1 and my Samsung Galaxy S8 to get the HDMI to my TV so I can watch videos.To recap: the only issue is the headphone jack doesn't work (on the Mac m1).

I haven’t even had this 6 months and it stopped working…. And the tech support was unavailable this far out from purchase. Do not recommend. I was happy while it was working but what good is a product you have to rebuy twice a year.

TL;DR: Buyer beware. Product broke after a couple of months, company ghosted me when I tried to claim the warranty.At first I was very pleased with this item. However, just a few months after I bought it, the USB ports stopped working (all three of them). I could still charge my laptop and use one of the HDMI ports, so I know the thing was connecting fine. This listing mentions a 12-month warranty, so I reached out to the company...First, I found the contact us address on their website. I emailed that address and they replied fairly quickly asking me for my Amazon order number. Then they said "an Amazon store employee will contact you" which I thought was odd. Several days later I hadn't heard anything, so I emailed them again. After a lot of back and forth with them saying they're getting in touch with me and me not getting anything, they finally explained that it wasn't "an Amazon employee", but rather an employee from Mirabox who is in charge of their Amazon store and after-sales. Even then, I had to ask for the email address that I was supposed to hear from. When I searched for it, I had a single message in my spam folder (not surprising, since the address looks fake). That single message asked for more details on what was wrong (which I had already supplied to the first person I emailed). I answered, but I never heard back. I periodically emailed them again and again, even copying the first email address (the ones who had responded originally). But I got nothing. I even told them I would leave a negative review if I didn't hear back... Well, here is the review.

Worked decently for a month, so I bought one of my techs one also (both out of my own pocket. Slowly degraded, had to reset power numerous times a day so my dual monitor setup would be recognized after the hub would freak out. My tech always had problems but I just chalked it up to loose cables since mine is mounted including all cables. Well the hdmi outputs died today. Swapped it with my techs same thing. Apparently same issue his just got hit first. Power pass through still works on both, Ethernet too. One will recognize usb A devices still, one won’t. Time consuming fail!
