Hot Wheels 24-Car Random Assortment Party Pack 2014 and Newer

I bought this “assorted” pack of random cars as a Christmas present for my son. There are 6 sets of duplicate cars in the package I received. It’s not like the box is being loaded by a robot. Either it’s intentional or negligent. Either way, they can do better.

Description stated 24 cars from 2014 to present, and one would expect a few cars from the earlier years. But all 24 cars are 2020 cars and can be bought for 94 cents at Walmart today. I already had every one of these cars and feel somewhat cheated. If you’re only selling new cars, tell the truth in your description.

I was disappointed that there were so many duplicates. I ordered them for our new foster son thinking that it would be a great start to his collection and was bummed that there were three of several models and two of many.

Bought these as gifts for my daughters 7th birthday party. Am very impressed by the variety and no duplicates. Some are roadsters, hot rods, classics, street cars. Soemalso say they are best for tracks. 8 of 24 say new for 2017. I’m very pleased. Will update once the little boys get them to see what they thought.

Packaged well, a few bent corners and one tear on a card. The cars are on short cards, no problem, just was not expecting that. No treasure hunts, but a few nice cars. The problem is the five cars that I have doubles of now. Out of 24 cars I would expect a pair of doubles, but five pairs is unacceptable. I should return it, but that was the gamble. I will not buy again. I would not recommend.

These ship fast and the packaging is solid. My only complaint is that hotwheels makes about 300 new cars a year and this supplier ships cars from the last 6 years. So there should be about 1800 different cars to potentially receive. I ordered a few weeks ago, liked everything about the order, ordered again and received essentially the same cars in the second shipment that I received in the first. So there's nothing wrong about the seller, but just be aware that if you order again, you'll probably get the same cars again.
