My knee is buggard, and i teach martial arts, have bought many of these . Went up a step to enforced steel hinges on a more expensive model… worth every cent, these are good but if you want REAL support spend the extra ,

Expensive but it helps with hamstring healing
I bought this because most of the braces out there look uncomfortable and ineffective. This does its job fairly well. I am healing a one week old hamstring tear from a skateboarding mishap and the two days I've owned this brace have given me the most noticeable improvements to my healing rate. It does prevent most movements that would exacerbate the injury. It does that job. It's not perfect though. I do wish the brace came with a new edition which included grip points to draw the brace up your leg. The brace does not have one and if you have a ligament injury the process of yanking the brace up your thigh without a proper grip point can cause you more pain. Removal is not as bad, but the same complaint applies. I also don't look forward for the eventual 'spring popping out' issue everyone else in the reviews mentions for something that cost me nearly a hundred bucks. They put a lot of thought into designing the brace ergonomically but not for its longevity. Things in this pricepoint should be buy it for life and we as consumers should demand better from all products.
