The glass of the jar is not 100% clear, moreover the walls are not perfectly manufactured creating a small lens effect which translates to visually darker and lighter glass spots. It looks like old vintage glass jars. But Maybe I'm nitpicking as when full the light and dark spots go away. Plastic and borosil glass jars have a perfect shape and uniform colour tone. This looks like recycled glass is used in small cottage industries.

Bottles are great but lids do not stay close

The finish of the bottles isn't great. There are flaws and dents in the glass. The bottles themselves seem sturdy though. Also the caps don't fit perfectly and don't seem to be made for the bottles. If you tug on them after screwing it on they'll come off. If the caps could be fixed I'd say it's an okay purchase.

When I opened the packet, bottles felt wet and sticky, like they were refurbished product. I sanitized them n tried filling half kg stuff in them. However only a bit more than quarter kg fits in them. They look neat so kept them. Don't know if they are airtight. Can grow plants in them if they are not upto the mark
