Nice model, but has issues.
While the quality of the moulding is excellent, the instructions are, in places, misleading or just wrong (the engine construction).Caution and dry fitting are required.

Not as described
The description said it was 1:32 scale but in fact, it is 1:48 scale. Not happy being misled.

Not one of Revell’s best
I bought this kit as I love the Horton 229, and was looking forward to build a 1:48 version with detail. Unfortunately, the kit is riddled with poor moulding quality. Not only this, but there are discrepancies in the instructions (notability the engine assembly) and colour mistakes. The model on the box is even painted in different colours than the instructions (engine & cockpit). Many of the parts do not fit, and will require work to achieve an acceptable result. Just be aware that this is not a kit for the faint hearted!

Wrong scale stated
Item is described as 1:32 scale - box in picture shows 1:48 scale. Please get this right!

Old and poor
This is an old kit, originally sold by Dragon, I think. It shows it’s age. The fit is quite poor and, unforgivably, the instructions are not just vague in many places, but actually wrong. If you do decide to buy the kit, I suggest you seek the original Dragon instructions on-line. They’re not wonderful but they are accurate.Disappointed with Revell - far from their finest!

Some very tiny parts in this kit.
Great kit, very detailed but is correctly labelled a level 4 kit, some of the parts are tiny and require a tweezers and lots of patience to assemble. On the flip side other parts are big and very easy to handle.
