Outstanding!

Amazing! I always wished for such a product as wind noise gets SO loud above 20 mph. Now you can have a conversation on the bike. It takes a minute to get the fit correct - reviewers who are critical probably were having personal problems, not product issues. Thank you for this product!

This product works, the key is to understand there are two main lengths; 3" and 4", and needs to be mounted correctly. I originally purchased the longer one that didn't fit well with my helmet/sunglass setup. I later exchanged for the 3" length, and now I am happy. I cycle with POC spin helmet, Smith reverb sunglasses, and classic mirror, along with one I-pod in the R ear. This helps to reduce whistling at the I-pod at high speeds, I can also hear approaching car traffic/cyclists to my rear better which has increased safety. Granted there are some humongous glasses out there that may not work. But overall I always want a safer ride with less noise. Hope this helps others, ride on.

Couldn't tell a reduction in wind noise.

Tried these on a 60-mile ride last weekend. Honestly, I couldn't tell that there was any reduction in wind noise. Save your money.

This really works!

This really works like it says. I have been wanting something like this for over 30 years, but just too lazy to do it myself. For me, they reduce 80% - 90% of the wind noise in my ear.FIRST off, be sure to measure your front ear strap first, with my helmet I got the Short Wind-Blox and it fits just right, the normal/regular one would have been too long for my strap. The only glitch I found was the thickness, fitting it with my helmet straps. I have the Giro Register MIPS helmet, and the straps around the ear are sewn together and do not adjust or extend. The instructions state to attach the noise reducer with the thick part of the unit inside the strap, next to your head, but for me, it made the strap uncomfortably tight. So I just turned them around and attached with the thick padded section on the outside of the strap, with the Wind-Blox logo next to my head. Sorry Wind-Blox, no one can see the logo now.... oh well!All-in-all, I do recommend the Wind-Blox for reducing wind noise. I wish I had some YEARS ago!

Not very effective with thick stemmed sunglasses

These work great if you don't wear glasses, or use glasses with very thin stems. My sunglasses have thicker stems, so lift the devices off the side of my face and let the wind go right through. Since they are so long, you can't really move them out of the way. Since they are so thick, you can't really put the glasses over them. So, the wind noise reduction is nil when I wear my sunglasses. On a 90 mile ride this past week I tried them with and without my glasses...big difference. There doesn't seem to be a reason the Wind-Blox are as long as they are, so I'll try cutting them down so the stem of my glasses goes over the top of the device and report back. I figure 1/2" off each side should do the trick. But notice nowhere in the advertising or instructions is anyone shown wearing glasses. So they do the job "as advertised." As I said, my thin steel stems worked fine...anything thicker made the device very ineffective.

These work well

I have had these for about a year and honestly i cant do without them now. They dont block 100% of wind noise but probably about 75%-80%. They dont look the best though, that’s probably the only issue. Also i put them on the wrong way and had them like that for a while but they werent working as well. When i figured out how to put them on they worked better and more comfortable. FYI the flat side is supposed to be touching your head, not facing out (at least that what i think)

Don't work with glasses and who doesn't wear glasses while riding?

Not impressed. Simple enough to install but makes wearing your cycling glasses impossible unless you put them under them which defeats the whole purpose. Tried them for one ride but unless the earpieces are over the wind block, they don't so anything. And then my glass just flop all over and don't fit over my ears. Wanted to like them but hate them

Easy install, reduces wind noise

I bought these because of excessive wind noise while wearing earbuds bicycling. I hear you, but I'm listening to The Nerdist podcast so it is only conversation and not excessively loud which is why I couldn't hear it over the wind noise. I can still hear cars or even other bicycles coming up behind me. I've gotta live me life. With the earbuds I was using, I still had too much wind noise. The earbuds were some inexpensive Bluetooth ones that work great otherwise but they are too "high profile", meaning they stick way out from my head. Since then, I've switched to some older wired earbuds and bought a Bluetooth receiver to plug them into and clip to my collar. These are older earbuds that are very low profile and I used them for swimming but I am now using my watch to play my podcasts so my world is changing.Anyway, if you are still reading, I listen to the podcast until I arrive at the start of the group ride and then remove them since I'm now riding with my group. At this point, I noticed how much the wind noise was reduced using the Wind-Blox with just my ears. It's too late for me, but it might help reduce any long term hearing loss and ringing in the ears for you.I didn't notice any problems with extra sweating on a very hot day but I sweat a lot but not from my ears apparently. I also noted that the velcro strips are sewn on. I've read reviews, perhaps of other models or bands, where they were only glued together but this isn't a problem with mine. Check the measurements of your straps where you want to use the Wind-Blox to decide if you need the longer ones or not. For me, I already had the triangles adjusted around my ears and the longer length works well.
