Leaves gap in gasket. Not waterproof
Not waterproof. There are gaps and not worth the price. If you make holes, plugs are not supplied.

Nice quality IP65 box
This box is outdoor rated and has gasket to make it water/dust proofing.IP means Ingress Protection. 65 means level of protection. IP65 means it will withstand rain.Though I have used this for some other purpose - to fit a 5000W regulator for indoor use. As the regulator generates heat, we have made some holes for air flow.
