Sad These are Discontinued
I wish this set wasn't discontinued and individual pieces could be purchased. There is a weight to them that makes it feel like a quality product. There is no discoloration and little to no chipping or wear. Even the tines of the fork have not begun showing shiny metal as if they were coated.

Rustic and classy
So first off definitely buy from this seller. Amazing customer service and products all around. Now the silverware is absolutely beautiful, it’s rustic but still classy and is definitely not cheaply made. I am going to buy an extra set just to have on hand.

I rate this set... Mediocre
PROS:- The quality of the metal is evident. Strong and thick utensils. The brand is above all others as far as I'm concerned.CONS:- An 8 inch long fork? a 9 inch long knife?? Sorry, it's just not comfortable and a bit too pretentious for me. I have medium/large hands and I would not recommend these.- The "stonewash" style is dull-looking and looks used. Not appealing at all.

My Favorite Flatware Ever
For a long time, I’ve tried to convince myself that I liked having mismatched silverware. I’d pick up cool old silverware at Goodwill or wherever, nice stuff, I tried to find need vintage stuff, but it never matched. And that was OK with me for a while. But I never really liked it as much as I wished I did. So when I had the opportunity to get this set I jumped on it. In the photos it looked unique and different and interesting and I figured I’d take a shot.I’m so glad I did. This is without question my favorite flatware I’ve ever owned. The lines on each piece are super-simple and clean, and the stonewash finish looks fantastic.I showed it to a friend of mine when it arrived who said they didn’t like it because “it looks like something that wouldn’t feel good on my teeth.” I get that, I really do. But the feel in hand is fantastic and none of the imagined uncomfortability in mouth-feel surfaced. This flatware is a pleasure to eat with.Weight and size is also perfect for me. If I had any complaints at all it would be that the spoon size is a bit small. However as it’s a simple three-piece place setting, I think they chose the right direction for the spoon, going standard rather than going soup. Luckily, I have some soup spoons that sort of match the set.The best endorsement I can give is that I immediately bought myself another set so that I’d have eight place settings. I actually considered buying two additional sets in case I lost a piece or two. That’s how much I love this stuff.A fantastic set that, if you like in the photos, you will love in person; it’s way better. Grab it.

Mixed Opinion About These, But, More Positive Then Negative
If I lived in a Federalist or Colonial style home, and was looking for a look from that period, these would work nicely. If you have modern decor, maybe not so much. There is nothing shiny and bright about these, but i like them just the way they are. They have a nice weight, easy to hold, and the name, Stonewash York, is fitting for these. When I think of York, I think of York, PA, and extremely historic area of our country, where the Articles of Confederation were written in 1777, and I could easily see folks back then using flatware that looked like this (although sterling silverware was highly sought after by those who could afford it). The one thing I don't get, and this is not the only set I've found this, the tiny tea spoons. Is there two sizes of tea spoons, maybe something I'm missing? They are as nice as the rest of the pieces, but small, and not the first set I've received with the "smaller" tea spoons included. If I used these to eat my Lucky Charms in the morning, it would take a while, getting only 1 or 2 marshmallows and cereal at a time. These are more like Moka Spoons, though they are described as teaspoons. This set sells for $59.99 (as of this review), which is a fair price for nice flatware from Mikasa, well known for their quality and designs at a reasonable price. These look good on our wood farmhouse table, and we are happy with them, even with the smaller "Moka" style spoons. Would like to see additional pieces that match these become available. If you like old period stuff, you'll like these.
