Great heater. I’m only going with titanium from now on, much better than glass thermometers. Very stable temperature and I like how easy it is to see the temperature read.

I personally think this is the best heater for the hobby. There is a digital reader that makes it easy to set the temperature. The temperature, overall is very consistent. I don’t have to worry about the glass ever breaking, cuz it’s made out of titanium. This is a lot pricier that most other water heater, but the reliability and durability of it makes it worth every penny.

Off by a few degrees. I set the temp to 80⁰ but I have an external thermometer probe and it never goes above 77.7⁰ which is not so bad, because I really only want the actual temp about 78⁰ anyway. UPDATE: Purchases in November, now 5 months later, it's going wonky. Set to 80 in Nov, never changed it. Yesterday my water was 86⁰! I'm LUCKY my livestock (especially expensive fish, my starfish, shrimp and anemones) are still alive. Luckily I caught it in time. Make sure you use an EXTERNAL thermometer. Don't trust the built-in.

I have bought 4 of these in the past year and a half. Very expensive heater by comparison to others in my opinion. Heaters are excellent except for the fact that only 1 is still heating!! Nothing happened to cause them to fail, they just did. Came home one day and aquarium was too cold. I won’t waist my money on these overpriced heaters again!!

These are the best heaters you can buy. Worth the high cost. Never had one fail and I have a bunch.

My favorite feature is definitely the fact that you cannot adjust the heat without putting your hands in the water. The digital readout makes it super easy and the thermostat is accurate. I'm using these in my ciclid tanks so that they cannot break them like they do the glass ones. They are also amazing in turtle tanks because turtles are definitely too rough for glass heaters.

I have a 125 gal. tank that needed two heaters. This is my second one, as the first one was doing a good job, but it wasn't enough for my size tank. Easy to set up. Heater is fully submersible.
